**Healing Slowly But Surely**
*By R. Joseph*
Kael stood there, a striking figure with his silver hair and mesmerizing purple eyes.
“Please… please!” I gasped, my voice tinged with desperation as I squeezed my eyes shut. The warmth of delicate fingers wrapped around my cock, moving rhythmically up and down, igniting a fire within me. Each stroke sent waves of pleasure coursing through my veins, and soon enough, precum began to gather at the tip of my throbbing manhood.
I clenched my fists into the soft strands of hair in front of me, reveling in the texture that felt both delicate and familiar. The intoxicating scent was unmistakably Leilani’s, and I tilted my head back, letting out a moan that echoed my rising need.
Suddenly, a warm mouth enveloped me, taking me in with an eagerness that made my head spin. She sucked me greedily, and I felt as if I had reached the pinnacle of ecstasy. My cock throbbed in delight, swelling with every slurping sound that filled the air, pushing me closer to the edge.
“Fuck. Fuck!” I managed to grit out, arching my back, my body responding to the exquisite sensations. My fingers tangled in her hair, pulling her closer, and I couldn’t help but worry that I was being too rough, but in that moment, all I craved was the pleasure that surged through me.
In and out, in and out, my cock hit the back of her throat. A strange tingling sensation traveled along its length, reaching down to my lower abdomen. My body trembled uncontrollably, pleasure threatening to overwhelm me.
Yet, she persisted, bobbing her head over my cock, sucking me deeper, her tongue dancing over the hot tip while her fingers played with my balls. I could vaguely hear her choking sounds, but it only fueled my desire.
I thrashed wildly, the intensity building to a breaking point. “Leilani!” I cried out, desperation spilling from my lips. “Leilani, please stop! I can barely contain myself!”
The moment those words escaped me, the girl before me froze. Slowly, she pulled away, her hands now clasped tightly over her knees, her gaze piercing.
I felt my heart drop as ringing sounds echoed in my ears.
What had I done?
My slip, my blunder.
“W-what?” I stammered, my eyes wide with disbelief, my breath coming in quick gasps. “What is it?”
“Leilani?” Chalice asked softly, her voice small yet laced with an underlying tension. I could feel her glare, as if she were throwing daggers at me with her tear-filled eyes.
It took a moment for the reality to sink in, and when it did, I felt frozen in place.
I had said it out loud.
It wasn’t just a fleeting thought.
My heart plummeted. “Babe…”
“Did you just think I was Leilani?” she whispered, her voice trembling. “Do you fantasize about her?”
Yes!
The word screamed in my mind, but I could never utter it aloud. Instead, I clamped my mouth shut, shame flooding through me. I dropped my head, unable to meet her gaze.
“Kael, talk to me!” she cried out, annoyance mingling with hurt in her voice. I turned away, shame burning in my chest.
“I do not fantasize about Leilani. I’m just as embarrassed as I am angry that I would say something like that. And… oh shit, I know you wouldn’t believe me right now, but it’s true. Everything I tell you is true.”
Chalice rose slowly, and with a heavy sigh, she plopped down beside me on the bed. For a long, painful minute, silence enveloped us. She didn’t even blink. Then, suddenly, she began to wail, a sound so raw it made me wince.
“Chalice, please stop!” I cried out, exasperation creeping into my voice. “I’m so sorry, baby. Please forgive me.”
Her cries only grew louder, drowning out my pleas. It was agonizing to watch her suffer. I found myself promising her more than I could ever deliver, desperate to ease her pain. Eventually, she quieted, wiping her face with the back of her hand, and pointed to the door. “Leave.”
Wait, what?
“Get out.” Her voice was small, shaky, and it made me feel weak, like an utter fool.
Before I could think, my knees hit the floor, and with a voice that barely resembled my own, I murmured, “I really am sorry.”
“What do you feel about my sister?” Chalice’s question cut through the air, and I found myself struggling to formulate a response.
I frowned, taken aback. “Why would you ask that?”
“Wouldn’t you ask if you were in my shoes?!” she seethed, fury radiating from her.
“Yes…”
“Well, she already has all of that. Why is she still so bent on slandering you?”
I frowned, unsure of the answer. I suspected it had something to do with my failure to meet her expectations.
“I have zero ideas,” I shrugged.
“So what do you plan to do about her?” He took my hand, and I watched in quiet astonishment as he brought my knuckles to his lips, kissing them softly, one by one.
I felt heat rise to my cheeks but quickly pulled my hand away, trying to hide my blush. “Nothing.”
Jarek raised an eyebrow, a teasing smile playing on his lips. “Really? Nothing?”
“Yeah, I’ll do nothing,” I replied, feigning indifference. “She hates it when she doesn’t get the reaction she wants, so I’ll just ignore her until she slips up. I don’t give a fuck about her.”
Jarek leaned back in his chair, delight dancing in his eyes. “Wow. You’ve changed.”
I smiled, a hint of mischief in my expression. “Maybe,” I said, taking a sip of my wine. “But first, I need to call my lawyer. She seems to have forgotten that she owes me seventy thousand dollars for my ruined dress.”
He whistled excitedly, barely able to contain his laughter. “Will you take the money?”
“Of course I will! I may not need it right now, but I bought that dress myself. Those days of her ruining my things without consequence are over.”
At that, Jarek grinned widely, his face practically lighting up. He leaned in closer, cupping my face in his hands, and pressed a kiss to my forehead.
“I love you!” he declared fervently. “I love you so much I can barely breathe without you!”
I rolled my eyes, trying to mask my flustered state. “You don’t love me. You only love the drama.”
“Well, fair enough,” he replied with a chuckle, and for a moment, the weight of the world felt a little lighter.
