Marina wasn't particularly close to this specific group and had originally planned to decline, but Summer relentlessly hounded her. "Please come! If you don't go, it's just going to be boring for me."

When she stepped into the private VIP room, the dozen or so people inside immediately stood up to greet her. Scanning the room, both Marina and Summer were completely blindsided by one guest in particular: Trixie Bell was there, and she had Colby Jensen glued to her side!

Seeing Marina, Trixie blatantly acted as if she was invisible, clinging to Colby's arm and giggling obnoxiously at something he said.

Summer shot Marina a discreet look and lowered her voice. "I totally forgot to mention this, but they got back together! Apparently, Trixie waited outside his office every single day and begged him to take her back!"

Marina was no longer friends with Trixie and couldn't care less about the girl's toxic relationship drama.

Trixie was acting incredibly hyperactive tonight. She commandeered the karaoke mic for two solo songs in a row before aggressively dragging Colby up to sing a nauseatingly romantic duet.

When Summer slipped out to use the restroom, she walked into the powder room just in time to hear Trixie gossiping with another classmate while fixing her makeup.

"Trixie, weren't you and Marina practically inseparable in college? Why haven't you guys spoken a single word to each other tonight?"
