Chapter 112
Grayson, his wolf a smug, confident presence, smirked, glancing at Jared.
His tone, though light, carried an undercurrent of threat.
You can try to see if I can get you banished from the Silvermoon Pack.”
Jared’s fists clenched; his own wolf snarled, barely contained. Anger threatened to boil over. He glared at us, then let out a frustrated growl, kicking a nearby rock, sending it skittering across the moonlit clearing.
Emily, her she–wolf whimpering in fear, grabbed his arm, her voice soft and tearful.“Jared, please calm your wolf; I’m fine…”
Caleb, his wolf radiating calm authority, spoke, his voice low and serious. “Emily, Isabella truly said nothing to
incite this.”
Jared spun around, his wolf bristling, glaring at Caleb.
His voice, thick with fury, boomed, “Caleb, it’s Emily’s moon–cycle celebration; why are you causing her distress?!”
Caleb took a deep breath, suppressing his irritation, his wolf patiently calming his own agitation. He calmly suggested, “I’ll summon Alexander; perhaps we should relocate to a more secluded den.”
However, Jared stubbornly shook his head.
“No, I’m holding Emily’s moon–cycle celebration here!” His wolf growled a possessive challenge. He pulled Emily towards the entrance to the cave system.
Grayson and I entered the deeper cavern, the air thick with the scent of his potent alpha pheromones. He gently guided me forward. At the private chamber entrance, Grayson paused, a mysterious smile playing on his lips. His wolf seemed to hum with anticipation.
“Are you ready?”
[looked at him, puzzled, my wolf sensing a shift in the atmosphere. Before I could respond, he pushed open the door.
‘Bang! Bang! Bang!”
The sound of celebratory firecrackers startled me. Colorful confetti and ribbons, magically conjured, rained down.
‘Happy Moon Cycle!”
Cheers erupted, the joyous howls of the pack echoing through the cavern.
I was surprised. Lucy and several pack–mates were smiling at me. Blue moonstone crystals and ribbons decorated the chamber, creating a magical atmosphere.
A warm wave of joy surged through me, and my wolf howled softly with happiness, my eyes welling up. I took a

deep breath, trying to steady my emotions.
Considering my past, it had been over a decade since I’d celebrated a moon–cycle.
Even though Emily and I shared the same moon–cycle, the Miller brothers had long ago forgotten her, only remembering that so–called adopted sister while neglecting their true sister.
Lucy excitedly pulled me forward.
Come, make a wish and extinguish the flames!” She led me to the moonstone–adorned cake, adorned with flickering candles that radiated warmth. I closed my eyes, made a wish, and blew out the flames.
Cheers and applause filled the chamber.

Grayson stood nearby, watching me smile; his lips curved gently. His wolf watched me with a tenderness that sent shivers down my spine.
“Thank you,” I said, trying to control my voice, my wolf purring contentedly.
“Time to share the cake!”
Lucy handed me a ceremonial knife.
Amidst the laughter, I felt a long–lost warmth. In that moment, I truly felt cared for and valued. My wolf felt a deep sense of belonging.
At that moment, Caleb, Jared, and Emily arrived; they saw Alexander arguing with the Pack Elder at the entrance to the main cavern.
There was never a reservation established!”
