Chapter 134
“Emily, are you thirsty?” Jared asked gently, his voice dripping with affection, his scent a comforting balm to her.
His wolf’s devotion was evident.
She smiled sweetly.”Thank you, Jared.”
Her own wolf purred, enjoying the attention.
She gracefully accepted the water skin, taking a small sip.
Alexander adjusted her pack, ensuring she could easily access her belongings.
His Alpha scent, possessive and protective, enveloped her.
His wolf claimed her as his own.
“Tell me if you’re tired; I’ll carry your pack,” he whispered, protectively.
She nodded gratefully.
“You are so kind.”
Then, she spotted me.
Her eyes narrowed, the playful facade shattering.
The scent of her jealousy filled the air.
“Isabella,” she purred, her voice syrupy with fake closeness, her chin raised, her eyes gleaming with a mixture of anger and resentment.
*So what if I refuse to give up my spot? Alexander still secured the entry for her!* Her wolf snarled inwardly, a bitter taste in its mouth.
My gaze was cold, my own wolf mirroring my anger. So, in a past life, Alexander could secure a spot without anyone losing out, but he insisted on stealing mine!
My wolf recalled the injustice, the humiliation.*It wasn’t that I wasn’t good enough; they just liked to bully me and show off their favoritism towards Emily!*
I didn’t even bother to glance at her and turned to leave.
A warm hand grasped my arm.
Grayson’s powerful scent, a blend of cinnamon and pine, filled my senses.
Grayson’s handsome face wore a teasing smile, his deep eyes sparkling with mischief.
His wolf was challenging, playful, yet fiercely protective.
“Where are you going? Acting like you don’t have a grand entrance.” His voice was a low rumble that sent shivers down my spine.
He snapped his fingers. Instantly, two sleek, obsidian chariots, pulled by powerful dire wolves, pulled up behind us. Leaning on the chariot, hands in his pockets, he smirked cockily, radiating supreme confidence and dominance. The scent of his power was intoxicating.
The doors opened simultaneously, and eight bodyguards in custom–made black suits emerged, forming a perfect formation.

The polished obsidian of their armor gleamed in the sunlight; their packs were neatly held, their scents forming a wall of protection.
“Princess, this way,” Grayson’s deep, magnetic voice softened with affection as he gestured elegantly.
His wolf was serenading mine, a silent declaration of loyalty.
I chuckled.“This is excessive.”
“Not at all,” he raised his chin, a hint of indulgence in his eyes.“My Smith family’s princess deserves this. Besides…”
He leaned closer, a devilish smile on his lips.“I’m happy to do it.” His wolf was openly flirting with mine.
I shook my head, smiling. Grayson always acted childish when dealing with the Miller brothers; he had to win. But this time, I’d play along.
“Okay, Brother,” I whispered, my voice husky with a mixture of amusement and affection.
Around us, attendees stopped, drawn to the spectacle.
Their whispers, carried on the wind, reached my ears. Emily watched my grand entrance, childish fury burning in her eyes.
The spotlight was mine, and my wolf reveled in it.
Jealousy burned in her eyes as she glanced at the Miller brothers beside her, suddenly finding them less appealing!
Her wolf whimpered, defeated.
