Chapter 177
I tilted my head back, staring at the alpha coldly, my eyes sharp as ice picks,
My wolf snarled, a low growl rumbling in my chest.
Memories from my past life flooded back–painful, humiliating scenes tearing through my mind. Back then, it was under Alexander’s orders–they’d cornered me in a shadowed alley of the Silvermoon Pack territory, pushing, threatening, tearing at my clothes, simulating an assault, laughing at my terror and helplessness.
I’d cried and begged, but those monstrous wolves trampled on my dignity. The despair and fear, the agony of that violation, burned deep

soul.
I gritted my teeth, my voice icy and firm.
“What if I don’t want to?”
The alpha froze, his wolf clearly surprised by my defiance. A beta beside him sneered, anger flashing in his eyes before twisting into a cruel grin.
“We’ve got plenty of ways to make you want to.”
He stepped closer, eyes as cold as a winter moon.
“What are you going to do?” I feigned fear, but my wolf was a coiled spring, ready
“What?” The beta’s gaze turned predatory.
His wolf’s scent, thick with aggression, filled the air.

to unleash.
The surrounding wolves burst into cruel laughter, their howls echoing like the chilling wind through the abandoned den.
“Listen, my brother knows I’m missing. He’ll come looking for me soon!” I tried to scare them, my voice trembling slightly, a deceptive tactic. “Your brother? Ha…” The beta laughed hysterically.“Little she–wolf, you don’t get it, do you? It’s your fifth brother who sent us. You reported Luna Carter, and he’s pissed. He wants us to teach you a lesson!”
“You better behave, withdraw your false accusation against Luna Carter to the Pack Council, and we’ll let you go. Otherwise, who knows what we’ll do. Your brother said, whatever it takes to make you withdraw it is fine.” the alpha said, his voice rough and threatening. My wolf sensed the lie, the deception in his scent. I needed those answers!
Seeing my cold, defiant expression, the alpha’s face darkened. His wolf’s fur bristled. He signaled the betas, “Teach her a lesson!”

“Ah!” He screamed, convulsing and falling to the ground.
The sound of the bone snapping echoed through the abandoned den, chilling the air.
“You bitch! How dare you fight back!” The alpha charged at me.
I quickly used a prepared concoction of pungent herbs, spraying it in his eyes.
My wolf’s senses were heightened, guiding my movements with terrifying precision.
“Ah! My eyes!” He screamed in agony, his fighting ability lost.
“Get her! Grab her!” The alpha shouted, rubbing his burning eyes.

The other betas swarmed me, but I remembered the fear and humiliation from my past life. My wolf fueled my rage. I fought back fiercely. My own pain was insignificant compared to the burning fury within.
I struck back with the bone and the herbal spray whenever they got close.
The air was thick with the scents of fear, aggression, and my own defiant fury.
