Chapter362.
All eyes turned to him, fingers pointing, their stares sharp as needles. His wolf bristled, a low growl rumbling in his chest. The humiliation was unprecedented; a burning shame spread across his face, hot from ears to neck.
Blinded by rage and shame, he spun around, his finger jabbing inches from my face, his voice sharp and trembling with fury.
His wolf bared its teeth, a snarl barely contained.
“Isabella Miller! What do you mean by this! Has the Silvermoon Pack started monitoring members‘ private communications? You’ve violated my privacy, I’ll challenge you before the Pack Council!”
He attempted to use the weight of his Alpha status to cover his actions. My cold smile remained unchanged, as if watching a pathetic pup’s performance. My own wolf felt a surge of amusement, a low chuckle vibrating within my chest.
Faye stepped forward at just the right moment, feigning surprise.
“Dustin, didn’t you know? The Pack sent out a howlnet announcement two days ago.” Faye blinked, her tone innocent. “The Great Moonstone in the central plaza is undergoing testing for a new moon–light projection function. To help the tech team test anytime, public projection was temporarily enabled. Any device used near the Great Moonstone automatically projects to the screen.”
Dustin’s face turned the color of a bruised plum.
He then realized that no one in the plaza had been using their soul–stones to check news or live streams!
His wolf whined, understanding dawning in its eyes.
“The announcement specifically highlighted that during the testing period, everyone should pay attention to their personal information security.”
Faye looked innocent, but the upturn of her lips betrayed her amusement.
“Dustin, did you miss the Pack announcement, or-” Faye’s voice turned cold, “Or, did you have some dissatisfaction with the Pack, that you didn’t even bother to read the announcement?!”
Dustin’s face turned an ashen green. This was my trap, carefully laid. He underestimated me, and he walked right into it. My wolf let out a satisfied growl.
What to do?
His wolf panicked, fear overriding his rage.
Instinctively, he reached for his soul–stone again, desperate to contact his allies.
But before he could, his eyes caught the screen above.
My wolf sensed his fear, a delicious thrill coursing through my veins.
My lips curved into a frosty, faint smile.
“Dustin, who exactly are you messaging?”
