I raised an eyebrow at the influencer. Her wolf shrank back under my alpha glare, but quickly recovered.

“I’m just stating facts, you heartless businesswolves! Pack members are almost killed by Fire Pharmaceuticals‘ poisonous drugs, what’s the use of saying these things now!”
The crowd erupted, howling,
“We demand justice! We want healthy bodies! Not your hypocritical performances!” My wolf remained calm, unfazed.
I stayed unfazed, just gave a subtle nod to Faye behind me.
Faye picked up her comm, “Bring the transport pods in.”
As soon as she spoke, a low rumble of engines rolled in from afar. Everyone’s eyes, including the live–streaming comms, turned towards the
sound.

The pods came to a halt. Under a mix of curious, angry, and confused stares, cranes lifted the pods off the transport vehicles. The vehicles drove away, and the side panels of the pods swung open.

Yeah, real—deal, fully equipped, state–of–the–art labs just popped up outta thin air right in front of Fire Pharmaceuticals.
My wolf felt a surge of pride. The scale was breathtaking.
My cool, crisp voice cut through the stunned silence like a scalpel.
“The labs are in place. I would like to introduce Professor Butler.” I gestured to an elderly man with silver hair but a sharp mind. My wolf sensed the respect he commanded.
Gasps rippled through the crowd.
“Mark Butler? It’s really Professor Butler!”
“Holy crap, the godfather in the field of neurology!”
“How did he get here?”
Reporters‘ comms flashed furiously, focused on this rarely interviewed medical authority.
I ignored the commotion, introducing the next person.
“And this is Academician Mitch Waters.”
Another wave of gasps.
“Academician Waters! The one specializing in drug analysis?”
“My god, Fire Pharmaceuticals actually invited these two!”
The live–stream comments exploded, countless “Wows” filling the screen.
These individuals, usually only seen in top academic journals and national conferences, were standing right there, in front of Fire Pharmaceuticals, beside me!
My wolf felt the shift in power; the pack’s perception of me had changed
