Five Alphas Kneel for Me (Isabella) novel Chapter 515

Chapter 515

Bang!

The Herald’s gavel slammed down with a sharp crack against the stone pedestal, a sound I knew would explode in Andrew’s ears like a thunderclap. My wolf prickled her ears, savoring the vibration of his impending doom.

SoldCongratulations to the Silvermoon Group for successfully bidding on Territory Plot 075!

Polite applause rippled through the room.

But Andrew, I knew, heard nothing.

His world, I felt certain, had shrunk to just that fatal thud of the gavel and the catastrophic collapse of his own conviction. I could smell the sharp, acrid scent of his shock from across the hall.

It was over.

He’d actually bought that blighted land!

I hadn’t even tried to hide my machinations from his wolf.

He’d just spent four and a half billion silver coins on a worthless, silverpoisoned plot of territory!

He spun around abruptly, his gaze slicing through the jostling crowd, locking onto me in the back row.

I was whispering something to Carson, a serene smile playing on my lips. My wolf sat tall and proud within me, her golden eyes fixed on his despair.

I hadn’t even spared him a second glance.

I knew the humiliation of being played, the utter contempt of being completely ignored, must have tasted like metallic, rusty blood in his throat.

The Exchange ended, and everyone rose, preparing to shift or head to their haulers.

As they passed Andrew, phony smiles were plastered on their faces, and they showered him with praise:

Mr. Andrew, what a grand gesture! Congratulations, congratulations!

This territory has such a promising future! Mr. Andrew, your vision is truly unmatched!

Every single word, I knew, must have grated on Andrew’s ears, piercingly sharp and painful.

It was a trap, and his wolf knew it.

Word had quickly spread through the Howlnet of the Silvermoon Group, painting a grim picture of Andrew’s den.

He was slumped in his chair, his face a thundercloud. It was an open secret that the acquisition he’d fought against had, against all odds, succeeded.

The entire pack holdings felt like a pressure cooker, an oppressive atmosphere so thick you could barely breathe.

I watched through the shadows as the finance director’s forehead beaded with cold sweat, the urgency radiating off his pheromones unmistakable. Something critical had clearly driven him to seek out the Alpha.

A shipment of raw ritual materials from Horizon Essence,he announced, his voice tight, The final payment is due today. If we don’t pay, they wont ship, and our entire production line for the pack’s supplies will shut down.

I knew Andrew’s brain must have been buzzing. He latched onto Horizon Essencelike a lifeline. He probably barked orders, Mr. Brook from Horizon Essencewe’ve worked with them for almost ten winters, always on good terms. Go tell him to extend our credit. We’ll settle the payment next quarter, guaranteed by the pack.

I can only imagine the financial director’s voice, barely a whisper, as he confessed, II already used the telepathic link

Andrew, I pictured, had probably snapped, What did he say?

And I knew the director had replied, his voice still low, He saidthe Alpha in charge at Horizon Essence they’ve changed. I could practically hear Andrew’s disbelief, Changed?

Yes.The finance director’s terrified voice must have been barely audible, unable to meet Andrew’s eyes. Before, the liaison r Miller lineage was was Ms. Isabella. Now there’s a new Alpha in charge, and with that, new Ancient Covenants.

My name.

I knew it would hit him like a silvertipped needle, plunging deep into Andrew’s heart.

He must have understood instantly.

It was all part of the trap, meticulously laid under the light of the previous moon.

Snapping up the territory had merely been the first step, a move designed to drain Silvermoon’s cash flow.

But cutting off their raw ritual materials? That was the kill shot, the true strike.

I was going to bring the Silvermoon Group to a complete standstill, cripple it beyond recovery.

Get out!

I could practically hear his roar, the sound of him seizing the crystal ashtray from his desk and smashing it to the floor. I felt the shockwave of his Alpha command through the packlink.

The finance director, no doubt feeling as though he’d just dodged a bullet, must have scrambled out of the office, practically falling over himself in his haste to escape the Alpha’s fury.

In that vast space, only Andrew’s heavy, ragged breaths would have filled the silence.

I knew he’d be reaching for his Howlnet device, hands trembling, searching for the frequency he’d blocked long ago, but could never truly erase from his mind. My frequency.

I knew the call he made rang for what felt like an eternity before anyone finally answered.

Then I heard Andrew’s curt Hello.

My voice, cool and detached, resonated from the speaker.

Isabella!Andrew’s voice twisted, hoarse with fury. Are you trying to ruin the Silvermoon Group?!

Yeah,I said.

A soft laugh escaped me. My wolf let out a triumphant yip.

Andrew, you should have known by now. I hate you all to my very bones. I only came back to the Silvermoon Pack for one reason: to destroy you. You can’t possibly be foolish enough to think I’d ever go soft, can you?

could practically hear Andrew’s breath hitch, the torrent of accusations and curses he’d been holding back suddenly caught in his throat by my simple

Yeah.

He roared, Don’t you forget, you’re a Miller too! Miller blood runs through your veins! Did spending a few mooncycles with the Grant family make You forget who you are?

I think you’re the one who forgot,I replied, my voice still calm, yet each word was a dagger. I cut our blood bond ages ago. My last name is my nother’s now; I’m a Grant.

Andrew was gasping for air, I could hear it.

I scoffed. You walked right into this, and now you’re getting yourself this worked up? I’ve truly never seen an Alpha like it.

Without waiting for his response, I disconnected.

The line went dead.

I didn’t need to see him to know the full force of his fury. I could practically feel him gripping his device, knuckles probably white, veins throbbing in his arms. The air around him would be thick with the scent of ozone and rage

And I knew, with absolute certainty, that it was only a matter of seconds before that device met a stone wall.

I could practically feel Andrew seething, his chest heaving, even after the call ended. I pictured him running a shaky hand through his hair, trying to compose his wolf, before he grabbed his device again. The screen was probably already spiderwebbed with cracks, a perfect reflection of his unraveling.

I knew who he’d turn to next. He’d pull up Julia’s frequency, his finger probably shaking as he dialed.

I imagined the device ringing endlessly on Julia’s end, the silence stretching, before she finally gave in and answered.

An impatient voice snapped from the device.

What is it?

Julia’s voice was, as always, dripping with that arrogant condescension, as if the entire pack owed her something.

Andrew’s hand, clenched around the device, was whiteknuckled, veins bulging.

The thought of him having to plead with her, that vile shewolf, made my stomach clench. I knew how agonizing it must have been for his Alpha pride.

But for the sake of the Silvermoon Group, I knew he’d swallow his pride and suffer through it.

Wife, I miss youAndrew’s voice was a desperate plea. Julia’s reply, sharp and cold, followed immediately. Say something or I’m hanging up.” I heard a muffled scoff, barely suppressed, from her end of the line.

He tightened his grip on the device. I have an urgent matter.

What kind of urgent matter could you possibly have?Julia’s voice was laced with impatience.

Andrew heard her, and I could practically hear his teeth grind as his jaw clenched. His wolf was likely snarling in humiliation.

I saw Andrew take a deep, shaky breath, fighting to keep his wolf’s anger in check. He knew there was no point trying to sort this out over the link, so he demanded,

Wife, where are you? I’m coming to find you.

Imperial Mansion.

The device clicked off abruptly, leaving behind the sharp, jarring sound of the disconnected line.

Andrew slammed his device down, the anger in him a palpable force, and drove straight to the Royal Manor.

He marched up to the door of the penthouse duplex and hammered on it with his Alpha strength.

The door flew open, revealing a hewolf who stepped out, barely covered by a hastily thrownon shirt.

The male cast a fleeting glance at Andrew, then quickly vanished down the hall.

The air around Andrew was thick with the cloying, sickening scent of his pleasureand Julia’s pheromones. It made my stomach churn.

Now, Julia made no effort to conceal her betrayal. Mating marksnot Andrew’sbloomed across her neck as she casually pulled her nightgown around her, draped across the massive white sofa in the living room.

I watched him walk over to the sofa, his face a tight mask, battling the wolf I could practically feel simmering beneath his skin. He didn’t sit, though. Instead, he just stood there, rigid, and when he spoke, his voice was almost sickly sweet, laced with an undeniable need to appease

Honey, the pack funds have dried up.”

Julia merely arched an eyebrow, a dismissive Oh?slipping from her lips. No flicker of surprise touched her face, no trace of concern. So?she asked, the question itself a weapon, slicing through the air.

Andrew’s voice dropped, raw with desperation. “I need silver, he’d practically begged. I need a sum to get the pack holdings back on their feet

Julia, finally granting him a sliver of her attention, slowly set her glass down. She straightened, her posture suddenly rigid, an unnerving stillness settling

over her wolf.

Her gaze, fixed on Andrew, sharpened with an almost cruel amusement.

What makes you think I’d just hand you silver?

We share a blood bond!

Bonded?Julia scoffed, then let out a bark of laughter, throwing her head back like he’d just told the funniest joke on the moon. If my brother hadn’t been trying to screw me over, do you seriously think you’d have ever landed a Smith heiress like me?

I could almost picture it: Julia reaching out, her hand likely dismissive, to pat Andrew’s face. We’re bonded on parchment, sure,I imagined her sneering, but do you actually think you matter? Andrew, in my eyes, you’re no different than a mutt
