Chapter 74
Jared looked triumphantly at Grayson.
Now we have a witness; what else can you say?” His wolf reveled in the perceived victory.
Grayson ignored him; his eyes were sharp, fixed on Bob.
His wolf sensed the fear radiating from Bob.
Bob felt overwhelmed by this pressure and took an involuntary step back, his legs trembling slightly.
His wolf was cowering.
Jared said quickly.
“Don’t be afraid! Doesn’t our Miller pack also have a legal team? If he sues you, we’ll support you!”
Grayson sneered contemptuously at Jared’s words, as if mocking his overconfidence.
His wolf scoffed at Jared’s bravado.
This sneer felt like a heavy hammer hitting Jared’s pride.
His face flushed red with anger; he knew very well that the Miller pack’s legal team was nothing compared to the Hayes pack’s.
Every time they went to court, the Miller pack had never won.
His wolf felt the sting of inferiority.
Grayson spoke slowly and magnetically, with a hint of laziness and nonchalance.
“If my mate really cheated, it would only be because her grades are poor.” His wolf’s confidence was unshakeable.
Jared jumped up, grabbing at a lifeline.
“Ha! You want to use the test papers as evidence? If she cheated, her scores must be excellent!” His wolf was grasping at a weak defense.
Grayson’s eyes gleamed with sarcasm; he turned, his tall figure imposing.
He looked down at Jared, his eyes cold and sharp.
His wolf’s dominance was undeniable.
He gestured to the advisor.
“You, bring over their test papers now and get a teacher to grade them.” His wolf’s command was unquestionable.
Bob’s face paled instantly; cold sweat trickled down his forehead.

He also struggled with many questions and did poorly on the exam.
But thinking of my usual grades, he relaxed.

I always ranked last, while his grades were much better than mine.
As long as he scored higher than me, it would prove that I cheated, and then he could receive the reward.
With this thought in mind, he felt much more at ease.
His wolf clung to this fragile hope.
The Pack Elder instructed the advisor to find the teacher.
The advisor hurriedly left the office.
Jared snorted coldly.
“Don’t pretend to be innocent! Just wait for the slap in the face!” His wolf was still confident, clinging to a false hope.
I sat calmly.
My she–wolf felt a wave of calm wash over her, trusting in Grayson’s strength.
Grayson ignored him and surveyed the three people present before speaking slowly and deliberately.
“My mate has been wronged and suffered great injustice.
All three of you should publicly apologize to her right now.” His wolf’s authority filled the room.
“You’re dreaming!” Jared roared.
“Why?”
His wolf was defiant, refusing to admit defeat.
“Why?” Grayson narrowed his eyes.
“Because you had nothing to do with it, yet you slandered my mate.
My mate isn’t someone you can bully!” His wolf’s protective instincts were fierce.
Jared’s face reddened; every word struck a nerve! She was his sister! He was trying to teach her a lesson; why did he overreact?! His wolf felt the weight of his guilt.
He gritted his teeth.
“Fine, if she didn’t cheat, I’ll apologize publicly!” His wolf conceded defeat.
As soon as he finished speaking, the door was pushed open.
The advisor walked in with the teacher responsible for grading, holding two data sticks in their hands.
The teacher placed the data sticks on the desk, picking up his pen.
“I’ll grade these papers now.”
The office fell silent except for the sound of the pen scratching against the paper.

Bob stared intently at the teacher’s movements, sweat trickling down his forehead.
His wolf was frantic with anxiety.
Finally, the teacher put down his pen and raised his head.
Everyone’s gaze focused on him.
‘Bob,60.”
Bob breathed a sigh of relief.
He glanced at me, smirking triumphantly.
I’d never passed before; he was safe!
His wolf celebrated the false victory.
The teacher looked at the second data stick again, his voice calm.
‘Isabella…”
Everyone held their breaths, waiting for the final verdict.
‘Full marks.”
The teacher’s words hung in the air, a resounding victory for Isabella and a crushing defeat for her accusers.
Her wolf howled silently with joy.
