With Just a Glance, We Say It All
Clan
After orchestrating everything about the alliance with the fairies, Cassian left his room and went to find Maya, eager to tell her that she would soon regain her freedom.
He knocked on the door insistently until Maya opened it.
“What’s going on, Cassian?”
Cassian kissed her without warning, lifted her off the ground, and spun her around in the air, making her dizzy.
“Cassian, put me down before I end up vomiting the dinner I had.”
Cassian set her down. Maya was so dizzy she almost fell to the ground, but Cassian caught her before she did and said, “I’m sorry, I guess I got carried away.”
“What’s going on? Why are you so excited?”
“You’ll be free, Maya. You’ll regain your freedom.”
“What do you mean?”
“Abril and Lessan have accepted the alliance with the fairies. In exchange for their help, they will demand your freedom. It’s a good deal; I don’t think the fairy queen will refuse.”
Cassian kissed her again and said, “We’ll be together, Maya. Nothing can keep us apart now.”
A few hours ago, that news would have made her jump for joy, but at that moment it was different. After what Fay had revealed to her, she doubted if the queen would let her go. While she had been
in the land of the fairies, she had learned a few things, and one of them was that, like the elves, the
fairies were protective of their descendants. The chances of her regaining her freedom were
almost zero,
Cassian, seeing Maya’s subdued demeanor, asked Her, “What’s wrong? Aren’t you happy?”
“It’s not that.”
“Well, you don’t seem very happy with the news.”
“I am, it’s just that I can’t believe it. I’m surprised, that’s all.”
Cassian kissed her again, gently caressed her cheeks, and said, “I understand it’s a big surprise,
something hard to believe. I feel the same way.”
Maya looked up to meet Cassian’s eyes, smiling happily at her.
She moved forward and took his face in her hands.
“Cassian, I love you…”

Their lips met passionately. Cassian felt the warmth of her lips melting away the cold. He took her
face, his hands memorized her face one last time, and for a few seconds, when their lips were free,
he murmured her name.
“Maya… I will love you always.”
She hugged him tightly, wanting to hold onto him for as long as possible.
“Stay with me.”
“Always, from now on, we’ll always be together.”

Alessandro seemed upset. Abril sat next to him, leaned on his shoulder, and said, “How long do
you plan to stay upset?”
“Why did you accept the alliance with the fairies?”
“You know why I did it.”
“Yes, but…”
Abril stood up and sat on Alessandro’s lap, gave him a little kiss on the lips, and said, “I don’t want
you to be upset.”
She kept giving him little kisses until she managed to change the frown on Alessandro’s face. She kissed him again, and this time Alessandro responded to her kiss with enthusiasm. His furtive hands caressed her back and went down to the hem of her white nightgown and went back up as they traveled over her legs, slightly squeezing her thighs, eliciting a moan from her.
“Ah!”
Her warm breath and sweet moan ignited him, and for a moment he lost control of himself. His hands began to undress her very slowly until she was completely naked while devouring her mouth in a passionate kiss. He made her lie down on the sofa and, with an exploratory gaze, he scanned her entire body. Abril felt her whole body burning under his intense gaze, her breathing became
ragged.
She looked so small and delicate as if she would break with a small touch, which made Alessandro regain his senses. Abril had been unconscious for 5 days. He forced himself to look away from his wife’s naked body and said to himself, “What the hell am I doing?”
He got up from the sofa and began to walk away. Abril sat on the sofa, not understanding why Alessandro had stopped and also not understanding why he was moving away from her. A
somewhat silly thought crossed her mind.
Does he not find me attractive anymore?

“Lessan.”
Clair
Alessandro turned in the direction where Abril was, her voice sounded sad, as if she felt hurt. She was still completely naked, so he looked away to avoid seeing her, but that only made things
worse.
“Lessan, why don’t you look at me? Where are you going? Why did you stop halfway? Have you
realized that I no longer excite you?”
Alessandro didn’t realize until he abruptly walked away that he had ended up hurting Abril.
“Of course not.”
He approached her again and replied, “It’s not that at all.”
Alessandro took her by the neck, kissed her gently, and said.
“I love you, and I’m longing to make love to you right now, but you’ve been unconscious for 15 days.
I was foolish to let my instincts take over, even though I’m longing to make you mine, I must let you
recover.”
Abril snuggled closer to him and said,
“I’m fine, and like you, I’m longing to be in your arms to feel your caresses, and for you to make love to me, so don’t leave without finishing what you’ve started.”
Alessandro could no longer hold back, desire and passion clouded his mind. He picked her up in his arms and carried her to the bed while kissing her mouth, gently laid her down and positioned himself above her. His hands began to explore her body with fervor, feeling every part, every inch of her skin. Abril’s moans soon filled the air; it had been a long time since Alessandro had touched her that way, and she felt like she was in heaven. Alessandro’s clothes became an obstacle to feeling him completely, so she started to remove his clothes as best as she could and did the same as him, touching every part of his body and reveling in his warmth.
He released her lips and began to kiss her entire body with utmost delicacy. That night, he made love to her with tenderness and gentleness, moving within her slowly, so much so that, at a certain point, she demanded he go faster. When he was about to finish, he wanted to withdraw, but she didn’t allow it, wrapping her legs around his hips and embracing his essence within her. Abril’s body trembled with pleasure, and although she felt weak, it also seemed to her that she regained all her strength, as if she had been reborn, recovering something she thought was lost.
They gazed into each other’s eyes for a moment, and in that instant, they expressed how much they loved each other without saying a word, as they had said everything without saying anything.
