The battle between the fairies and the monsters was brutal. Abril focused on treating the

wounded alongside Cassian and Maya, but even from a distance, they could hear the roar of the

battle.

After treating several wounded, Abril left the tent, and as she headed to the next tent, she felt an

intense gaze at her, as if someone was watching her.

She looked around frantically, although there were many fairies going back and forth, it didn’t seem like anyone was watching her, but she kept feeling that intense gaze that sent shivers down her

spine.

Cassian noticed her nervousness and asked.

“Is something wrong?”

“I don’t know, maybe it’s just my imagination.”

“Tell me what’s happening.”

“It’s just that I feel like someone is watching me.”

“There are many people here, it could be anyone.”

“That’s why I said you shouldn’t worry about me. I think it’s my imagination. I’m very nervous. I’ve never gotten along with my siblings. I hope I don’t have to see them again.”

“I also hope this war ends soon, and we can go back to living our lives.”

Abril was somewhat surprised that the queen herself had come to find her, and as she followed her, she wondered what the queen wanted to talk about with her.

Upon arriving at the queen’s tent, Abril was very surprised to see who was inside. It was her brother Enzo, and when he saw her, he said.

“Hello kid sister, it’s been ages since I last saw you.

Without a second thought, Abril created a fireball in both hands and prepared to attack her brother.

“What are you doing here, Enzo?”

Abril looked at the queen with a reproachful expression on her face and asked.

“What does this mean?”

“Your brother has come to talk.”

“I couldn’t care less about what he has to say, so as far as I’m concerned, he should be leaving if he

“Wow, it’s the first time I’ve heard you speak like a Venobich, kid sister.”

Abril felt insulted by the mocking expression on her brother’s face. She made a gesture to attack

him, but the queen stepped in between, blocking her attack.

“Enough, why not let your brother speak before attacking him? If you don’t like what he has to say, you can always kill him later.”

“I’d prefer not to be killed, if that’s alright.”

Abril extinguished the flames in her hand and asked her brother with great suspicion.

“What do you want, Enzo?”

“I’m seeking an alliance with the fairies and the kingdom of Cosset.”

Abril laughed out loud upon hearing her brother speak.

“What kind of joke is this?”

“It’s no joke, I’m speaking very seriously.”

“Does that mean you’re willing to surrender?”

“That’s impossible.”

Abril reignited the flames in her hand and replied.

“Then the conversation has come to an end.”

“Wait, aren’t you going to ask why?”

“Honestly, I couldn’t care less about the why.”

“Our sister always hated you for being so soft. I wonder what she would say if she heard you speak right now.”

Abril turned her gaze to the queen and asked.

“Can I finish him off now?”

Enzo burst into laughter and said.
