Forgotten Wife Let the traitors kneel Down (by Patricia Maradiaga) novel Chapter 208

Alessandro gently squeezed Abril’s hand.

Could what your brother said be true? Is he just helping his sister recover so he can betray us

later?

Abril shook her head, showed him the red mark on her right hand, and said,

I don’t think so. Even if he wanted to, he couldn’t betray us. If he does, he will die.”

What is that mark?

It’s proof of our alliance and our promise of peace so we don’t have to worry about that for a

while.”

Alessandro was still uneasy, even though there was an alliance between them, he couldn’t trust

Enzo, but he had been separated from his beloved for a long time, and at that moment, he just

wanted to be with her and set aside his worries.

Dantriel stood up and said,

We’re leaving; we must prepare to return to the elven lands.”

Alessandro stood up and replied,

I greatly appreciate your help. I hope you can convey my gratitude to your queen.

We will do so.

Dantriel walked towards the door and, seeing Ethan lagging behind, called him.

Ethan.

I’m coming.

Ethan approached Abril.

Take care.

I will, thank you very much for everything you’ve done for us.

I couldn’t help your mother when she needed it, and I wouldn’t have forgiven myself if I had done the same with you.

Ethan headed to the door, before he left, Abril said to him,

My mother appreciated you a lot while she was inside me. I could feel it.

With a certain sadness on his face, Ethan replied,

I know, but thank you for telling me.

After they left, Maya stood up and pulled Cassian along with her.

We’re leaving too; you must have a lot to talk about or do.

They both left the room. Once alone, Alessandro embraced Abril, found her lips, and with a gentle

kiss, said,

My love, finally alone.

Alessandro took Abril in his arms, and they both left through another door, heading to their

quarters. Upon arriving, he began to kiss her passionately; he didn’t want to wait any longer. He

wanted to show his love not only with words but also with his kisses, his caresses, his body, and

his entire being. He gently laid her on the bed and said, between kisses,

I love you Aby, I love you, my wife, I love you, my queen, my everything.

During the time they had been apart, Abril hadn’t stopped missing him and responded eagerly to

his kisses. She was intoxicated by his kisses and caresses, surrendering to the sweetness of his

whispered words and his warmth.

They made love a few times, until they were exhausted.

Alessandro gently caressed Abril’s curls as she rested on his chest.

Lessan,she murmured softly.

Being with you makes me the happiest woman in the world.

Abril sat up, her reddish curls cascaded over her shoulders and breasts, enveloping her.

You know, there was a time when I was young that used to beg God for just one more day of life. I pleaded with Him to let me live, and that was enough for me. But since I gave you my heart, I only ask for one thing that your love for me never changes, that no matter what happens, our love

stays just as strong.”

Abril caressed her belly and continued saying.

And now, there’s one more thing I wish for, that our baby will be as happy as I am.

Alessandro thought he must have heard wrong, so he asked.

Baby? I think I must have heard wrong. For a moment, I thought you were saying you’re pregnant.

Abril continued caressing her still flat belly.

You heard right, I’m pregnant, we’re going to be parents, our baby is growing inside me.

Alessandro placed his trembling hand on his wife’s belly and asked again.

Are we really going to be parents? Are we going to have a child?

Abril placed her hand over Alessandro’s and replied

That’s right, we’re going to be parents.

Alessandro couldn’t have been happier; not only was he with the woman he loved, but they would soon have a child together. He hugged her gently, overwhelmed with joy, and said,

Thank you Aby, thank you for making me the happiest man in the world.
