Forgotten Wife Let the traitors kneel Down (by Patricia Maradiaga) novel Chapter 251

Claim

Part II: Nightmares or Reality

Cira was lying on the cold dirt floor. She had absorbed all the monsters there were. It had been torturous, and she felt completely exhausted, but she could also feel her magic replenishing, being restored. The voice in her head said to her, We can leave whenever you want. With your current power, you will be able to reach the Hadesrift without any problem.

Cira got up from the floor. Every part of her body protested, but she ignored it, forcing herself to stand. She headed towards the exit of the cave. The sun blinded her; after over a year, she could feel the sun warming her skin. It made her feel alive. She stayed there for a while, feeling the sun on her skin, until the voice in her head told her to stop wasting time.

Cira used a teleportation scroll. In a second, she found herself outside the royal palace of Laios. The immense golden towers that rose towards the sky made her feel at home. That was her home, her kingdom, what was rightfully hers, and she would reclaim it.

She searched for a secret entrance that only the Venobich royal family knew and entered the palace, moving in the shadows until she reached that black doorthe one her father never

allowed her to cross. The door that she had crossed in disobedience and had marked a

change in her life. She placed her hand on the doorknob and wondered for a moment what would have happened if she hadn’t opened that door.

The voice in her head screamed, “Those are useless thoughts! Open the door; there you will obtain true power, and everything you desire will be yours.

Cira inserted the key into the lock and opened the door. A cold air hit her. The interior was dark, the darkness as thick as ink, just as she remembered it. She hesitated for a moment before entering, but the voice in her headthe darkness insidepulled her into the room.

She made a flame appear in her hand and began to descend the spiral staircase. When she reached the end, she felt as if her strength, her magic, and her very essence were strengthening. As she walked, she could only hear the sound of her footsteps echoing against the marble. The voice in her head said:

We’re about to arrive. Prepare yourself.”

What will I find?

Patience, you will soon see.

Cira had never come this far before and felt fear. Something inside her told her that she should turn around and flee from that place, but the voice in her head told her the opposite, encouraging her to continue until she arrived at a crevice. The interior seemed even darker than everything around it.

You must jump,” the voice repeated in her head.

You’re crazy, I’m not jumping.

Claim

If you want to regain all your power, if you want to be powerful and destroy those who have betrayed you and regain everything they have taken from you, you must jump.

Abril was looking towards the forest when Sirius approached her and said, You should rest. You’ve been using a lot of magic and hardly sleeping. You’ll be exhausted when we reach the royal capital if you continue like this.

I know, but I can’t rest. I have a bad feeling, it’s like something inside me is telling me that

something bad is going to happen.

All the more reason for you to try to rest, because we’ll need your power for whatever comes

our way.

I know.

If you can’t sleep, I can prepare an herbal tea that will make you sleep for a few hours.

No, I’ll try to sleep a little while Taren prepares the food.”

Okay.

Abril looked for a place to rest. She laid her blanket on the ground, used her arm as a pillow, and tried to sleep. At first, she thought it would be impossible to sleep, but little by little, her eyes closed, and she fell into a deep sleep.

Suddenly, she found herself in a strange and dark place, on the edge of a large rift, in which nothing could be seen but darkness. She saw her sister Cira. She looked weak and tired, peering into the rift. Suddenly, their gazes met, or at least that’s what it seemed to her; Cira jumped into that rift and disappeared.

Abril leaned over that rift in search of her sister. What she saw sent chills down her spine- hordes of monsters trying to escape, all grotesque and filled with evil. Tentacles emerged from the rift, coiling around her ankles, trying to drag her down into the depths of that rift.

Suddenly, Abril woke up frightened and sweaty. Sirius approached her and asked, Are you okay? What happened?

I saw my sister,” Abril replied, deeply disturbed. I think she’s in Laios. I saw her jump into what seemed to be the Hadesrift.

Calm down, you were asleep, it must have been a nightmare,Sirius reassured her.

Claim

No, it wasn’t a nightmare. I’m sure it was something that happened or will happen. I’m not entirely certain, but sometimes I can see what will happen in the future or what is happening while I sleep.

Are you sure about what you’re saying?

Yes. When my mother’s soul was bound to mine. It was she who showed me what would happen or what was happening elsewhere, as if I was in those places. But for some time now, I discovered that I can also do it, although it’s not something I can control. We must immediately go to the royal palace of Laios.

Abril tried to get up, but Sirius stopped her and said, First, you must calm down. If your sister is in the royal palace of Laios, we can’t be reckless. We have to think carefully about what we

will do.

But-

Calm down. Taren went to get some herbs. We’ll wait for him to return before doing anything, okay?

Okay?
