Forgotten Wife Let the traitors kneel Down (by Patricia Maradiaga) novel Chapter 260

Part II: A Common Enemy

The rift had already closed completely, but it had been too late. Cira had managed to escape, and Abril had almost exhausted all her magic. She thought this would be the end; she doubted she

could beat her sister in her current state.

Cira walked towards her. Sirius and Taren stood in front of her to defend Abril.

Cira used the darkness to push them away. Enzo stood in front of Abril, blocking Cira. This surprised Abril greatly; she never imagined that he could defend her.

What do you think you’re doing, Enzo!Cira exclaimed, equally surprised that Enzo was defending.

her..

What I always do: stop you from doing something stupid,Enzo replied, feigning a calmness that was light years away from what he felt.

Do you really think you can stand against me? You’re delusional,Cira said as she gave him a menacing look. She continued advancing. Something dark emerged from her shadow and went straight for Enzo, but the silver flames blocked its attack.

Cira was annoyed to see that her attack had been blocked.

Enough, Cira!Enzo shouted at the top of his lungs. Stop this, this isn’t you.

Cira laughed out loud and told him, You don’t know anything about me.

Of course, I do,he replied. We grew up together. I know you’re capable of many things. I know you can be cruel and bloodthirsty, but I also know that the only thing you’ve ever wanted was our father’s recognition, but he’s gone now.

Cira attacked Enzo again with the darkness, sending him flying away, and said in a voice filled with contempt, You’re delusional. That’s never interested me. What I’ve always wanted is power, and now I have it. I’m no longer content with being queen of a small kingdom. Now, I want it all. I will open the gates of Hades and create a new world, my world. I will be the supreme ruler; there will be no one above me.

Abril rose to her feet with what little strength she had left and told her, I won’t let you do it.Cira approached Abril even closer, grabbing her by the neck tightly. Abril tried to defend herself, but she had exhausted her magic; there was nothing she could do to break free.

You look pathetic. If I wanted to, I could kill you by squeezing your neck a little tighter, but don’t worry, I won’t. I want to see you suffer. I will put you through hell before I kill you. I wonder what face you’ll make when you lose everything you love. Who will it hurt more to lose, your husband or

Abril used the last trace of power she had left to create flames in her right hand and grabbed Cira’s

hand. She released her, and Abril crashed to the ground.

Cira’s arm had suffered a burn. She used the darkness to heal her wound and said, I see you still

have some power left.

Don’t you dare touch my family!Abril said as she gave her a murderous look. Cira laughed and replied, So you can also make that face. I will undoubtedly enjoy my revenge.”

Cira turned to look at Enzo and told him, I will get my revenge on you too.

Enzo’s face paled. They knew that his sister would not forgive him for punishing her. He gritted his teeth, waiting for her attack, but Cira did not attack him, she only laughed as if she was greatly

amused.

But it won’t be today. I will let you suffer in the anxiety of not knowing when I will return to get my revenge.

Shadows of darkness swirled around Cira. Abril tried to catch her, but it was useless; she had

disappeared.

No!

Abril fell to her knees, fear gripping her. Her family was alone in Cosset, and her sister seemed more than determined to attack them. She had to warn Alessandro; she had to tell him to flee or hide; she had to go to her family.

Abril used the pendant to communicate with Alessandro, but by the time he answered, she had already fainted without being able to warn him of the danger they were in.

As darkness enveloped her, Cira had sensed evil, hatred, and infinite darkness in the heart of a human. That evil came from the dungeons. She went directly to that place and looked for the owner of all that darkness. She stopped in front of one of the cells in which there was a middleaged woman and asked, Who do you hate so fervently?

Liona was startled to hear a chilling voice in the darkness. She crawled towards the wall and fearfully asked, Who are you?

Cira cleared away the darkness and revealed herself. Liona recognized her. She prostrated herself before her and pleaded, Princess Cira, please save me, get me out of this damned place.

What would you be willing to do to get out of this place?

Everything, I will do anything Your Majesty wishes, but please, get me out of this place, I beg you.”

Cira smiled in satisfaction upon hearing the maid’s response. First, answer my question, who do

you hate so fervently?

Princess Abril. It’s her fault I’m locked up in this place.

Cira laughed out loud. She made the bars disappear and said to Liona, It seems we have a common enemy. I hate her just like you, so I will give you the power you need to get your revenge.”

Liona crawled to Cira’s feet and said, Thank you, Your Majesty.

Cira bit one of her fingers, and a drop of black blood fell on Liona’s head. She screamed as if a hot coal had fallen on her head, she twisted and shouted. She felt something inside her breaking, but she could also feel herself becoming stronger, and even her appearance changed. All the wrinkles that lined her face disappeared. Liona kissed Cira’s feet and said, Your Majesty, this humble servant surrenders to you. I will do whatever you ask, and I will get rid of our common enemy, Abril

Venobich.

I expect so.
