Part II: I’ll Never Let You Go
Dark fire erupted in Barto’s eyes; he cupped the back of Kiara’s head with his hands, holding her in place as he leaned in to thoroughly explore her mouth, making her gasp. He sucked on her lower lip, teased the corners of her lips, and invaded her mouth with long caresses. His tongue left Kiara pressing her burning body against Barto’s, wanting more. She had resolved to end their relationship completely when she saw him, but at that moment, everything that had happened ceased to matter. She felt nothing but Barto and
the heat of his body and the tortured sensuality of his mouth.
It was Kiara who untangled them. Finally, Kiara was the one who took Barto by the wrist and led him to the nearest room. They stumbled without separating their mouths until they reached the bed at the back, knelt on the bed, and kissed frantically, tearing each other’s clothes off. The fabric ripped and was discarded, and when they were both naked, they fell back into the tangle of layers and fabric and kissed until Kiara was intoxicated by Barto. Long, dark kisses, slow like the black waters of the sea that made sailors forget,
that was how she felt at that moment.
“I love you, will you stay with me?”
Kiara thought about how unfair that question was, as at that moment, she had stopped thinking and it was
her heart that was answering.
“Yes, I’ll stay with you, but be only mine, mind, body, and heart, I want it all.”
Barto’s response was clear.
“Everything I have and everything I am is already yours.”
Kiara paused, her hand extended over Barto’s bare chest. He was beautiful, his pale skin and dark ink–like
hair, and best of all, he was hers. She had claimed him as hers seven years ago when she was just a
curious teenage elf, she had claimed him as hers when he was just a shy and tender boy, and that day, she was claiming the man he had become again.
“Let me show you with my body how much I love you.”
Kiara nodded, and Barto got to work with his hands and mouth. He moved with an unhurried intensity; he
touched her with such care as if she were a delicate flower he could destroy if he touched carelessly.
Wherever Barto’s hands moved, he drew pleasure from the deepest parts of Kiara’s body.
Kiara’s breathing quickened, and then quickened more. She managed to touch Barto, wanting to give back some of what she was receiving, and almost came undone at Barto’s sharp cry of pleasure. The sensation of Barto’s body under her hands: his skin soft and fine like silk, the angularity of his bones, his intense sensitivity, sensitive to Kiara’s lightest touch. He was already trembling when Kiara caressed his body, licked and sucked his skin: he finally cried out and drew Kiara beneath him, leaning over her on his elbows.
His eyes were glassy, unfocused: Kiara felt an intense sense of pride, that she could make this firm and serious man lose his composure in such a way. The pride lasted only a moment: Bart
smiled wickedly
and moved his hips in a way that sent fire shooting through Kiara’s veins, and everything else disappeared.

She clung to Barto: they were pressed chest to chest, thigh to thigh, skin to skin.

Barto’s hands and fingers brushing her skin were like fire, fire that produced an indescribable joy. Kiara
closed her eyes, her body arching helplessly toward Barto’s. He was panting too, his body trembling, and each tremor brought more friction and more pleasure until Kiara thought she might die from it. She reached out to capture Barto’s face between her hands and kissed him, deep and hard, and the kiss seemed to crush the last of her resolve, crushing and discarding any idea of leaving him and forgetting
him.
“I will never again say that I’ll leave you,” Barto said as his fingers sank into Kiara’s blonde hair.
“I will never let you go again, you are mine, just as I am yours, you can no longer leave me behind.”

The next day, Abril went looking for Kiara, as there was something she wanted to ask her, but she wasn’t in her room, and the maids said they hadn’t seen her since the day before.
As she walked through the halls, she wondered if something had happened to her, as she had seen her acting a bit strange the day before. But all her doubts were resolved when she saw her coming out of a
room with a big smile on her lips, carelessly kissing Barto.
“It seems they’ve made up, I guess there was nothing to worry about.”
Kiara saw Abril out of the corner of her eye, feeling a bit embarrassed that she saw them together, so she asked Barto to go in the opposite direction, saying she would catch up with him later.
Abril approached her and said, “I see you’ve sorted things out with Barto.”
“Yes, in the end, I fell for his seduction, that damn man knows how to make me lose my mind.”
