Third–Person POV:
When the two Alphas came face to face, neither one looked particularly pleased.
Julian’s expression was dark. “You picked her up yesterday?”
His jaw was tight as he spoke, teeth practically grinding together as he stared Finn down.
Finn lifted an eyebrow. “And?”
‘We haven’t dissolved the mate bond yet. What do you mean, ‘and‘?”
At Finn’s casual response, Julian felt his temper spike, impossible to contain.
Hearing those words–haven’t dissolved the mate bond–Finn let out a low laugh.
Julian was already wound tight.

Bend to him?
Lillian had been pushing to dissolve their bond this whole time, driving him crazy–so crazy that he’d wanted to see her! see her bow her head in front of him.
He’d wanted her to understand that without Julian, she couldn’t make a single move in Gilneas City.
Their eyes met again.
Julian’s voice came through clenched teeth. “Why did I want her to bend? Because she kept making trouble for me. And v her the confidence to stir up all that chaos?”
Lillian had been raising hell nonstop lately–so much so that things had completely spiraled out of her control.
Finn’s eyelids lifted slightly.
The look he gave Julian turned even colder.
Julian snapped, “What does any of this have to do with you? Why’d you have to encourage her to end the mate bond?”
His voice rose as he spoke, until he was practically shouting.
Lillian had been dead set on dissolving their bond.
And she’d been acting chummy with Finn the whole time.
Now things between him and Finn had reached this point–whatever brotherly connection they’d had was clearly shattered i good.
Finn said flatly, “Did you really just want to kill her desire to end the bond, or did you want to reduce her to some kind of….ser or the Graves Pack?”
Julian shot back, “Servant? Don’t twist this.”
A servant?
No. He’d never thought of Lillian like that.
Finn let out a cold laugh. “The fact that Thomas didn’t make a single move to get her out after you woke up last night says everything about how unequal your relationship really is.”
If there’d been even a shred of equality between them, neither the Graves Pack nor Julian himself would’ve teamed of trying crush her like this.
“Equal or not, that’s between her and me. It’s got nothing to do with you. Now where the hell is whe

Julian was fully enraged now.
