Hilda blinked, confused. “What?”

Iris kept her voice low and deliberate. “If you want him, you’ll need to do things my way. Can you handle that?”
Hilda glanced at Eleanor, who gave a slight, firm nod. “Listen to Iris.”
If Iris truly had a plan to make this work, then all the better.
At the end of the day, as long as nothing was really going on between Lillian and Finn, Lillian would lose her safety net.
And what they were all waiting for was exactly that–the moment Lillian had no one left in her corner.
Iris‘ words had left Hilda’s mind reeling at first, but hearing Eleanor’s approval steadied her. “Alright,” Hilda agreed quietly. “I’ll follow your lead.”
Eleanor straightened up, resolve hardening in her eyes. “I’m going to speak with Julian now. We’re moving to Laurel Manor.”
Only two places remained available now–Graves Estate, and Laurel Manor.
Either way, she refused to stay under this roof any longer.
Even if Julian had originally given Laurel Manor to Lillian, Eleanor was determined to claim it now.
That woman was downright toxic–living with her sucked the life out of you.
She was going to drive them all insane.
Eleanor was done. Done sharing a home with Lillian, no matter what anyone said.
She found Julian just outside his study, his expression stormy.
The wound on his stomach wasn’t deep–it had already clotted, and the blood on his shirt had dried into a rust–colored patch.
He was turning to head downstairs when Eleanor called out, “Julian.”
He looked back, his gaze cold and detached.

Chapter 247 Following Iris‘ Lead
It was clear his patience had run out–for everyone.
Lillian had frayed every last nerve in the house.
Now, whenever Julian saw Eleanor, he assumed she was there to stir more trouble.
As she approached, he frowned. “What now?”
Everything that needed saying had been said.
What was broken couldn’t be fixed–he didn’t want to deal with any of it anymore.
“We’re moving to Laurel Manor,” Eleanor stated flatly.
Julian said nothing.
Her tone left no room for argument. She was exhausted.

Lillian’s recent chaos had worn her down for weeks, and after everything that had happened today, she felt completely drained.
She couldn’t spend another day living in the same house as that woman.
Back when Julian had first bonded with Lillian, Eleanor had actually wanted her to move in- just to make her life miserable.
Now, all she wanted was to get as far away from her as possible.
Not another day. Not another hour. Not even another minute.
Julian began to speak, but Eleanor cut in, her voice strained. “I can’t live with her anymore.
“Either you take her to Laurel Manor, or we move there ourselves.”
Graves Estate was meant to be the Alpha and Luna’s home.
And here she was, being forced out because of one unstable Omega. How would that look to the pack?
But what choice did she have?
Lillian had backed her into a corner.
Eleanor had laid out the options: either Julian took Lillian away to Laurel Manor, or she and the others would go there instead.
Either way, they were done sharing a roof with Lillian.

Julian finally replied, “Laurel Manor?”

“Yes. Iris isn’t well yet, and with Lillian acting out like this, we’re all losing our minds. Don’t forget–Iris is struggling with depression. How is she supposed to heal with all this drama around?”
Eleanor was genuinely worried about Iris‘ mental state. She was already fragile.
If Lillian kept this up, it wouldn’t just be Iris who broke–she’d take all of them down with her.
Julian’s response was calm, almost too calm. “Laurel Manor isn’t available anymore.”
Just as Eleanor was working herself up, insisting they had to move there, Julian delivered the line flatly, without emotion.
The air turned heavy and still.
Eleanor stared at him, disbelief settling in. “What did you say?”
Gone. Did that mean what she thought it meant?
Just as her chest began to tighten, Julian added, “You can’t move in there.”
