Chapter 76 Keep Everything
Third Person POV
George asked, “You agreed to that?”
Hearing everything Julian had said, George felt that Julian was being downright spiteful.
He couldn’t believe Julian had been completely in the dark about all this over the years, only to bring it up now and claim he’d return everything to Lillian.
When Eleanor kicked up a fuss later, wouldn’t that just make things miserable for Lillian alone?
Lillian said, “Of course I agreed. Those were gifts from him before. Why wouldn’t I take them?
As she spoke, there was a hint of amusement in her tone.
The gleeful anticipation of the chaos about to unfold was unmistakable.
Through some of the information he’d dug up, George had gained a basic understanding of
the Graves Pack.
Hearing Lillian’s words, he responded, “They probably won’t return them to you.”
The people of the Graves Pack… They were supposed to be one of the top elite werewolf families in Gilneas City.
But after Lillian was bound to Julian, Eleanor and Hilda had been terrified of Lillian gaining any advantage from the Graves Pack.
Even the diamond necklace Julian gave Lillian had been snatched away by them.
Acting so petty–where was the dignity of a noble werewolf family?
Lillian said, “Of course they won’t return them to me.”
“Then why did you…”
Lillian said, “I never actually wanted them back.”
When Julian brought it up in the hospital room, she hadn’t intended to take anything.
But she changed her tune just now, especially emphasizing she wanted the items Catherine

had taken
It was really just about watching the Graves Pack descend into even greater turmoil.
She never wanted them?
Lilhan said, “Julian’s grandmother, Catherine, is the most despicable of them all. She’ll make an even bigger scene than Eleanor.”
Now he really understood.
Lillian wasn’t trying to get Julian to reclaim those things for her.
This was clearly about making Julian’s demand set the entire Graves Pack on fire!
She wanted the whole Graves Pack thrown into complete chaos…
After a moment’s thought, George asked, “What about Iris, then?”
Since she was playing this game with Julian now, George thought Lillian might have been distracted from her focus on Iris.
Mentioning Iris, Lillian let out a cold laugh. “Tomorrow, the plan stays the same!”
She was betting that Julian wouldn’t be able to return everything he promised.
And even if he did… so what? She wasn’t backing down on Iris…
George nodded. “Understood.”
Lillian said, “Just wait and see. There’ll be plenty of drama unfolding tonight.”
Waiting to see Iris and Margaret both lose their minds.
And waiting to see the Graves Pack explode all over again.
In another hospital room.
While Hilda was having her dressing changed, Eleanor saw the long gash across her cheekbone and immediately flew into a rage.
Hilda tried to lift her phone to see the wound on her face, but Eleanor stopped her. “Don’t look.”

Bin she couldn’t stop her.

Hilda saw it anyway and let out a sharp scream. “Ab-!”
Seeing Hilda like this, Eleanor’s heart ached.
That damned Lillian… It was all because of her. Everything had turned out this way because of her.
She was nothing but a curse.
Hilda yelled furiously, “You never should have let her marry into our pack back then. See? Now her true colors are showing.
“She’s making life hell for all of us now, and she even wants those things back.”
Hilda was completely beside herself.
That wound on her face was so long, so obvious. Last night at the hospital, it had taken several stitches.
A cut that deep would definitely leave a scar!
The thought of a scar made Hilda roar even more angrily. “I won’t let her get away with this! Ah-!”
Eleanor said, “Calm down. Don’t tear your stitches open again.”
Seeing Hilda throw such a fit gave Eleanor a pounding headache.
Just thinking about torn stitches… Iris had been dealing with that problem these past few days.
And today she’d even jumped into the river…
Now Margaret was beaten up like this because of Lillian!
Basically, ever since Lillian came along, nothing had gone right for the Graves Pack.
Hilda wasn’t having any of it. She slapped the disinfectant tweezers out of the nurse’s hand.
“Get out! Get out now!”
The nurse, too scared to protest, didn’t dare say a word.
