Chapter 95 Finn’s Verdict

ThirdPerson POV:

Chloe nodded. Yeah, better they don’t find out. The Graves Pack might be one of the biggest in the city, but just look at the kind of people Eleanor and Hilda are. They make me sick.

For years, they’d looked down on Lillian just because she didn’t have a family.

If they ever found out she actually came from old pack bloodlines in the Western Continent

Honestly, Chloe sort of wanted to see their faces when that truth came out. But for now, with the mate bond still technically intact, she kept her mouth shut.

So what made you decide to torch Inkwood Gardens?

That property wasn’t cheap.

Knowing Lillian, Chloe figured she’d want to cut all financial ties with Julian at this point.

Burning Inkwood Gardens meant taking a real loss.

Lillian said simply, Hilda told me she really likes that house.

Chloe blinked. Oh. Okay. Yeah. Now I get

it.”

Since when did a sisterinlaw get to have feelings about someone else’s matebond home?

Funny thing is, Inkwood Gardens has always been in Hilda’s name.”

It was hers on paper, and she kept making comments about how much she loved it.

Yeah. Chloe understood perfectly now.

If she’s gonna be that nasty to you, burning it down is honestly pretty satisfying.”

Chloe had known Hilda for years. Hilda was stubborn, entitled, and impossible to reason with on a good day.

But this? Taking the marital home like that? That was a new low.

Lillian added, She’s already in talks with the Livingstons about a mating alliance with Finn. And she actually warned me to stay away from him.”

Chapter 95 Finn’s Verdict

Chloe almost laughed. Her? With Finn? You think he’d even be interested?

She couldn’t even get that far, and she was already throwing around warnings?

With everything Lillian had stirred up lately, the Graves Pack was in complete shambles, and Margaret was about ready to lose her mind.

At nine that night, Julian showed up at Finn’s place. Finn didn’t look thrilled to see him.

Julian didn’t look much better.

The two sat across from each other in Finn’s living room.

One had a cigarette between his fingers. The other swirled a glass of wine.

Under the sharp overhead lights, both of them looked carved from ice.

Julian broke first. Where is she?

Her. Lillian.

After Inkwood Gardens went up, he’d rushed back, but she was already gone. He’d sent Thomas out immediately to track her down.

They didn’t know exactly where she’d gone, but they knew she’d been picked up by that Draeneithe one who worked for Finn.

Ever since Julian found out Lillian had a Draenei around her, he’d been convinced the guy answered to Finn.

Finn shot him a cold look. Whatever brotherhood had once existed between them wasn’t visible now.

Julian’s voice was flat. I’m not dissolving the mate bond.”

No room for negotiation.

Finn’s response was dry. You think she’d care that you came to me?

I don’t give a damn what she’d think. Finn, don’t push me.”

Julian was barely holding it together.

Chapter 95 Finn’s Verdict

After everything between us, you’re really gonna do this?

Finn set his glass down. After everything between us, I’m supposed to help you hold onto a mate bond she clearly doesn’t want?

Julian’s eyes went colder.

Finn had always been quiet. Reserved.

But now, because of Lillian, he was cutting Julian with every word.

Julian’s breathing was heavy. Where. Is. She.

Iris and that pup are your responsibility for life.

Julian went still.

Iris. The pup.

For the last six months, Ethan’s death had been a bomb lodged in the middle of everything.

He’d died and left all his baggage behind, and Julian had been left to clean it up.

Now Finn was telling him Iris and the kid were his to carry forever?

Julian’s aura turned icy. Cut the crap.”

She’s not gonna put up with your connection to Iris.

Compared to Julian’s barelycontained fury, Finn’s voice stayed even.

Even without the Langley Pack in the equation, Lillian wouldn’t tolerate it.

And now that she was their little princess? It wasn’t even a conversation.

Finn set his wine glass down completely. You and her? You’re not on the same path.

Whether she’s worthy of methat’s my call. I don’t need reminders from any of you.

How many people in the Graves Pack had made comments over the years?

He’d ignored the elders. But now Finn was saying it too?

Julian was past furious.

Then Finn’s mouth curvedjust slightly. I didn’t say she wasn’t worthy of you.”
