Chapter 146
Nova gave her a frosty glance. “How could it be that quick? You should go get treated at the hospital first.”
Since Julian was there, Nova kept quiet and just took them away.
Yolanda quickly pulled out her phone and called Gray.

“Gray, Galvin hasn’t shown up yet. He must be close. Track him down and tail him to see who he meets,” Yolanda said, her voice tense.
They couldn’t afford to let up for even a moment. Otherwise, they’d never get the bar open again.
Gray said, “I’m tracking him right now. I’m hanging up. Get yourselves to the hospital first.”
Yolanda hung up, then looked at Julian, her mind flashing back to that split second before the crash, when he had desperately pulled her into his arms to shield her.
She felt a wave of gratitude wash over her. ‘Anyone who risks everything for you when your life’s on the line is someone you can truly trust,‘ she thought. “Julian, thank you. And I’m really sorry you got hurt because of me,” she said softly.
Julian watched her, seeing how weak she was but still trying so hard to hold it together. His heart ached for her.
She was in charge of the bar in Kingsbridge, and now that something like this had happened, he knew she must be really
anxious.
“Don’t worry. You guys planned everything so carefully. Nothing’s going to go wrong. Let me take you to the hospital first,” Julian said, trying to reassure her.
Julian could tell she was on edge. He’d only known her for a few days, but he already had a pretty good sense of who she was.
She might act all laid–back, but when it came to getting things done, she was meticulous and thorough.
Yolanda’s head was spinning and she felt terrible. ‘Better get myself to the hospital first, she thought.
‘Once I’m feeling better and my head’s clear, I’ll be able to deal with everything,‘ she reassured herself, “Okay,” she said.
Yolanda shot a quick message to Serena. And soon enough, someone showed up to take them to the hospital.
Serena didn’t go to the police station. Instead, she headed home to spend time with her son.
Thanks to the new evidence Yolanda dug up, the bar’s problems would be cleared up in no time.
Back at the office, Dylan had Miles look into what was going on with Kismet Bar, and also had someone keep tabs on Eliana and Beatrice.
Even though Yolanda was the general manager, Dylan still wanted to do whatever he could to help Stella.
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Eliana and Beatrice looked visibly pleased when they heard about the trouble at the bar.
A cold glint of hatred flashed in Beatrice’s eyes. ‘If it weren’t for Stella, we could have been a happy family, she thought, resentment simmering beneath her calm exterior.
Eliana was all smiles, certain in her heart, I’m sure Jasper’s behind this mess. She turned to Beatrice and said. “Mrs. Ashford, you’ve been taking care of me all day and night. Seriously, go home and get some rest. I’m really okay

Beatrice wasn’t young anymore, and after going through that divorce, she was just exhausted, both physically and emotionally.
Dylan was so stubborn. There was no way he’d ever marry Eliana.
Beatrice was still troubled by the whole situation.
“Eliana, I know Dylan better than anyone. Now that the truth is out, there’s no way he’ll marry you,” Beatrice said, her voice tinged with worry.
Eliana’s eyes went icy. “Hmph! This is all Stella’s fault. If it weren’t for her, we wouldn’t have lost everything. My son was taken from me…”
“Just shut up! Didn’t I tell you not to hurt Liam? Why couldn’t you listen?” Beatrice snapped, her voice tight with anger.
