Chapter 34
GAD
Serena was certain Dylan was capable of draining his whole company to save the Lambert family.
Dylan clenched his fists tightly. The certainty in Serena’s eyes and the unfamiliar smile on her face made his chest feel unbearably tight.
“Don’t worry. If the Lambert family really did something like this, I definitely won’t help them. I love Eliana, but I won’t get involved with the Lambert family.” Dylan said.
I’m not the young man I used to be. Betting my entire company on a woman? That’s impossible, Dylan thought.
“Is that so? Then I have to question your love,” Serena replied. “Isn’t it said that when you love someone, you also love what belongs to them?”
Serena was actually a little surprised by Dylan’s stance, but once the truth fully came out, he would have no other choice.
Jasper and Simon would do everything they could to force Eliana to drag Dylan in to help the Lambert family.
Serena looked at Yolanda.
Yolanda said, “Let’s go. Things here are basically settled.”
Serena nodded slightly and pointed at the sofa Dylan had been sitting on. “Have that sofa taken out and thrown away. Disinfect it before moving it out. Don’t let any pathogens get near anyone.”
Dylan hadn’t had a chance to see Eliana’s medical records yet. He had no idea what kind of contagious disease she carried.
Dylan flew into a rage. His handsome face darkened as he stared at Stella. “Stella, do you really have to humiliate Eliana like this?”
Serena frowned at him. “Dylan, I’m not humiliating her. I’m stating the facts.”
‘It’s all because of this bastard that I have to go to the hospital once every month now,‘ Serena thought.
Eliana was furious, on the verge of breaking down.
‘I’ve fully recovered. I’m in stage two. As long as I keep myself clean, I won’t relapse.
‘Getting an STD was already bad luck for me, but I’m really curious how Stella found out. Thank God Dylan doesn’t believe her, otherwise I’d be completely finished,‘ she thought.
Eliana looked at Stella, a trace of counterfeit pain flashing through her eyes. “Stella, is it really that interesting to keep framing me? No matter how much you slander me, you’ll never ruin the relationship between Dylan and me.”

Raising her brows, Serena gave Eliana a cold snort. “Eliana, can you be a little more sincerer? Do you really think what you’ve done is flawless?”
“Pierre is truly pitiful. After you used him, you threw him away. Now he’s trapped in prison, while the two of you are enjoying wealth and luxury. You know? Every single word and action of yours reeks of hypocrisy,” Serena said with a cold laugh.
Within half a year, Serena would leave Dylan with nothing. Back then, she had willingly helped Dylan, but now she had to reclaim all the credit that Eliana had stolen from her.
‘Six months from now will be the moment they truly get to witness true love, Serena thought. ‘Someone as selfish as Eliana could never love a penniless guy with unwavering devotion.
“Dylan, I pulled you out of hell once. In six months, I’ll send you right back there. After that, we’ll pretend we never met,” Serena said.
She picked up her bag and walked out.
Spencer followed her closely.
Yolanda left as well.
