Stella looked at Dylan, who had suddenly walked in. A sharp chill filled her eyes as she instinctively stepped
back.
Dylan froze for a moment.
When he saw the disgust in her eyes, his heart clenched painfully. Stella was repulsed by him.
“Stella, wipe that disgusted look off your face. I’m not dirty,” Dylan said through clenched teeth as he stared at her, a wild, domineering aura radiating from him.
Instead of easing, Stella’s revulsion deepened. She retreated another step.
She watched Dylan warily. The moment he moved, she stepped back again.
Dylan frowned. He knew she was doing this on purpose.
The anger inside him spread through his entire body. “Stella, you knew from the start that Eliana and I would end up together. You knew it the moment we got married, didn’t you?”
Stella was momentarily stunned.
‘That’s right,‘ she thought. ‘From the very beginning, he intended to marry Eliana. No matter what secrets Eliana has, no matter how vicious she is, Dylan loves her.
‘Just like how I loved him, no matter what he was like, everything about him seemed perfect to me. And in Dylan’s heart, Eliana is just as perfect.
Back then, Stella had once read something that said a man was most likely to lose his way when he was at his lowest point, and that what he needed most was a woman who could stand firmly behind him.
Whether he truly loved her did not matter. What mattered was that the woman had value he could acknowledge.
At the time, Stella believed that if they endured hardship together, they would grow old together.
It had all been nothing but her own delusion.
But Stella knew that the root of the problem was not there.
She said calmly, “Dylan, I’ve always remembered this very clearly. After you slept with me, you handed me the divorce papers and asked me to sign them.
“I signed without hesitation. Whether you believe it or not, I won’t interfere in your life anymore from that moment on. But what you owe me, I will take back. That’s all there is between you and me.”
She continued, “If you came here because of the Lambert family’s cooperation, then I’m sorry. I can tell you very clearly that Kismet Bar has already partnered with Spencer.

“We will not cooperate with the Lambert family again. If the Lambert family, or you, want to make trouble, then we’ll settle it through legal channels.

“Every bottle of liquor in Kismet Bar’s warehouse belongs to the Lambert family. Even if they destroy all the counterfeit liquor at the distillery, the counterfeit liquor in our warehouse alone is more than enough to prove everything.”
That old fox Jasper is far too cunning,‘ Stella thought. ‘He’ll definitely replace all the liquor at the factory with
real ones.
That was exactly why she had not gone all the way.
Dylan’s stomach hurt badly. Ever since Stella left, he had not eaten properly even once.
The food Stella used to make was always to his taste, light, nutritious, and comforting.
She had always taken such good care of him.
“Stella, this matter hasn’t been fully investigated yet,” Dylan said.
“Even when the evidence is right in front of you, you still refuse to believe it, don’t you?” Stella replied, finding him ridiculous. “Since you don’t believe it anyway, why should I waste my breath?”
