Chapter 94
:
Serena found the accusation almost funny. How could Eliana even think that?
Serena had the skills; why would she be afraid of someone sabotaging her?

“Eliana, I hear you were the champion a few years ago,” Serena said, her voice even. “If you’re that good, why would you be worried about me? True talent speaks for itself on the stage. Today is about on–the–spot creativity. It’s fair and square.
“Besides,” she added, “I was just telling the truth. How is that slander?”
Eliana glared at her. Even Beatrice didn’t know about this.
If Dylan’s mother found out she’d actually had that kind of disease, she would never be allowed into the Ashford family.
‘No, I can’t let that happen,‘ Eliana thought frantically.
She had to beat Stella today and marry Dylan as soon as possible.
After that, she’d convince her father to get rid of Stella for good, and then all her problems would disappear.
If she lost, she would make Stella pay the ultimate price.
But she was confident she would win. Beatrice knew she was competing and had already pulled all the necessary strings.
First place was practically guaranteed, and she needed these accolades to prove she was worthy of Dylan.
For years, Beatrice had been secretly helping her, crafting a perfect public image–an angelic beauty with a heart of gold.
Beatrice had paved the way for her in high–society circles, painting Stella as the homewrecker who came between her and Dylan.
As the elevator doors slid shut, Serena caught sight of Miles standing a short distance away, and a subtle, knowing smile touched her lips.
Eliana leaned against Dylan, her voice thick with grievance. “Dylan, Stella always says such awful things about me. It’s so upsetting. I’m worried she’ll try to sabotage me during the competition.”
A cold glint flashed in Dylan’s eyes. He fought to suppress the anger bubbling up inside him and soothed her gently. “Eliana, don’t be upset. I’m here. If she really does anything to hurt you, I’ll make her pay.”
A triumphant smile flickered across Eliana’s face. She knew she had Dylan wrapped around her little finger.
From the very beginning, Beatrice’s people had created the illusion that Eliana was the one who had saved him all those years ago.

In Dylan’s mind, it had only ever been her.
Stella stood no chance against that.

Another elevator arrived, and the two of them stepped inside.

In her own elevator, Serena spoke in a low voice. “Miles heard what I said. He’ll start digging into Eliana’s past. I need you to find a way to lead him to her medical records from when she was abroad.”
Chris had been waiting for this. He nodded eagerly. “Ms. Hale, I’ve been waiting for this moment for so long. I’ll keep an eye on Miles. I’ll make sure he finds Eliana’s records without a single clue tracing back to us.”
Chris rubbed his hands together in anticipation. That vile woman, Eliana, was finally going to get what she deserved.
‘I heard she cut ties with the Lambert family, he thought. ‘Now she’s completely dependent on Dylan. If he dumps her, she’ll be out on the streets.’
He could just imagine sending a stray dog to fight her for scraps, just to prove she was beneath it.
Serena watched Chris’s excited expression, her own gaze turning icy. This time, there would be no mercy. The list of culprits involved in the deception was long: Pierre, Beatrice, Beatrice’s driver, Eliana, and even Dylan himself.
They had all helped her.
