Gold Digger vs Gold Saver My Man's Double Life novel Chapter 63

Chapter 6

Every single pair of eyes snapped toward the red carpet entrance.

Backlit in the doorway, a tall figure in a blindingly white wedding dress walked forward step by step.

In the dead silence and collective gasps, Scarlett strode directly to the altar.

At 5’9″ plus 4-inch heels, her presence was commanding.

Her prosthetic leg was completely visible, no attempt to hide it as guests stared with shock and curiosity.

Her gaze swept over Declan’s ashen face before settling on me, lips curving in a triumphant smile: “Ms. Whitmore, since you’ve already burned bridges… how about…”

She turned to Declan, her expression instantly shifting to tender devotion-yet with an undeniable authority:

“Declan, marry me.”

The crowd erupted in whispers, buzzing about this audacious woman.

“Scarlett! Are you out of your MIND?! Get OUT!”

Declan was furious, nothing like the tender lover from the video.

He pointed at her, eyes blazing: “Who told you to come here?! Security! DRAG HER OUT!”

Scarlett wasn’t fazed at all-she actually laughed: “Declan, you’re just losing one fiancée. You’ve got me.”

“Can’t you be honest with yourself? You love me.”

Her gaze turned flirtatious, voice sultry: “When we’re together, you tell me I’m like a wild rose-thorny but irresistible, driving you crazy… it’s all

on that video, honey.”

Scarlett’s words were gasoline on the fire.

Declan charged at her, screaming:

“Scarlett! SHUT UP! When did I ever say I loved you?! That was… that was…”

He stumbled over his words, panic-stricken as he shouted: “You SEDUCED me! I was drunk and stupid-just that ONE time! I didn’t even know what happened! I regretted it the second I woke up! I only love Grace! Always have, always will!”

As if trying to convince me, he lunged at me again.

His voice broke, almost sobbing:

“What’s so great about her anyway? She’s a CRIPPLE! How could I actually want her? Grace, think about it-she can barely walk straight, how could I genuinely care about a disabled person? I helped her out of PITY!”

“YES! Pity! Like feeling sorry for a stray dog! How could I throw away you-throw away six years-for HER?!”

“DECLAN!” Scarlett’s face went completely white.

Her composure finally cracked.

Chapter 6

She swayed violently, all pretense of dignity gone.

The woman was shaking all over: “What did you just say? WHO’s the cripple? WHO’s the stray dog?”

“When you had me in your bed, that’s NOT what you said! You told me my scars made you want to protect me! You said I was a hundred times stronger than Grace-that precious little porcelain doll! You said she was pathetic, always crying, completely useless! You said you were SICK of

her!”

“BULLSHIT!” Declan spun around like a provoked cat.

His eyes were vicious, like he wanted to devour her: “I NEVER said that! Don’t you dare make shit up! What are you even worth?”

“You’re not fit to shine Grace’s shoes! She’s my treasure-I’ve cherished her for six years! You’re just a mistake I made when I lost my mind! A MISTAKE! Got it?!”

“A mistake?” Scarlett completely lost it.

She rushed forward desperately, grabbing onto Declan: “You can’t just walk away! You have to take responsibility! You HAVE to marry me!”

“Get OFF me! You psycho!” Declan shoved her away in disgust.

“Security! Get in here! Remove this crazy person! And ban her from the building permanently!”

In her heels and emotional state, Scarlett stumbled hard when he shoved her, nearly falling as her prosthetic scraped against the ground with a harsh grinding sound. She looked completely pathetic.
