After finding out who his ancestor was, Magnus wanted to know why he had never heard of the name Mahina in his bloodline. It turned out that Mahina had changed her name and was known to Magnus and his family as Acelia.

After we had looked over every part of it for other hidden compartments, he ordered some of the construction workers to take down the structure on the foof.

I kept asking him how he felt about knowing the truth now, and it gave him the chance to vent without getting mad at the wrong person. It took him a few weeks, but he has managed to provide it with a place and be at peace with it.

Rhys was banned from the territory for not speaking up and even planning on taking over from Alpha Hank by making him look incompetent.

Everything has calmed down in the past four months and now we are concentrating on Madden’s Alpha Ceremony.

“Of course, I am looking forward to taking over, but a part of me wishes that I had my Mate by my side Madden responds to Magnus.

“I have made all the decisions I needed to make and am grateful for your help. It wasn’t easy and I am glad that Mylah offered to organize any parties and visits. I would screw up big time if I had to do that myself.” Madden answers.

On the Full Moon, Madden will become the Alpha of Black Valley Pack tomorrow night. Misha will take over the Beta position from Lennox with River by his side and Matheus will become the Gamma

“We could use some muscle in the ballroom. Mom call out and I see a twinkle in Marley’s eves that I have witnessed a few times in the past few weeks.

“On our way?” Marley says as she gets up and walks away “The boys can catch up, while we do some real

work.”

Thear her rapid footsteps behind me and Mauro is on his feet to chase after her. I smile as Malek slowly gets. up and walks out of the living room through the French doors

“He will chase her in my direction and then we will push her for insulting us. Don’t come looking for us.” Malek says as he looks from me to Magnus and then to Meadow.

We laugh as he walks away from us and Mangus lifts mas he gets up to go to the ballroom.

“Let’s see what they need us to do. I het we have to move the tables and chairs around to accommodate all their invited guests.” He says as he pulls me a little close to his chest.

I know I can walk myself, but Magnus loves to hold me lose and I will enjoy this as much as possible. After all, there might come a day when I might be too big to be carried around.

Yeah, we want children, but aren’t in a rush. It will happen when the Goddess believes it is time for us to become parents. Until then, I will enjoy the alone time have with my Mate and the time I get to spend with my family.

“Tell us what we must do and don’t count on the Gamma couple. According to Malek, Marley needs another punishment.” Magnus announces as we walk into the ballroom.

“How many times do I have to tell you to keep that kind of information to yourself? I don’t need to know what my Brothers are doing with their Mate.” Marisol growls as she smacks Magnus on the back of his head.

Marisol gets scolded by her Mother for slapping the future Alpha and I bury my face in his neck, because we all know what is coming.

“I don’t care, Mom. The only person here who has seen his dick more than me is his Mate. I know him well enough to know that he does it on purpose and if he doesn’t get the hint soon, he will end up in the infirmary.” Marisol responds.

Wow. That is a first and everyone stares at her to see if she is kidding. It is clear that she isn’t joking and through the mind–link I warn Magnus to stop teasing her.

“You do realize that Marisol won’t fight fair?” Matheus asks as he pulls his baby Sister in for a hug.

“Yeah, you don’t have to remind me. I still get the cold sweats just thinking about the spices she put in my food a few years ago.” Magnus answers.

I raise my eyebrows as I look at Matheus, knowing he will tell me what happened.

“Magnus thought putting red dye in Marisol’s shampoo was funny before we headed to a ball. Marisol didn’t think it was funny and I knew something was up when she didn’t retaliate immediately. We kept a close eye on Marisol, but could not prevent her from getting ever

I must bite my tongue to keep my laughter, but I can’t. Clue Tarragon is a spice with a kick, with a massive kick in the morning and I understand why he still gets cold sweats thinking about it.

“Yeah, laugh all you want. I know I screwed up and I deserved it. If Marisol threatens you, you’d better run. Run and hide while praying she doesn’t find you if she doesn’t.” Magnus says as he puts me on my feet.

We walk toward our Moms to get instructions on how and where the tables must be placed, while I am sull laughing softly at my Mate’s expense.
