I have studied quite a few cases on kidnapping, but none of them resemble this ammo and that is what is bugging me. In most cases someone follows a certain pattern when it isn’t the first time and most of the time it is what gets them caught.

The Elders have a database on ammos used by criminals and the ammo used in this case isn’t in there. meaning that this is his first kidnapping or at least the first time someone reported a kidnapping. Big question now is, why did he kidnap this female and why does the Alpha want him dead?

I put the file aside and concentrate on my studies, it will help me clear my mind for the time being.

Makay will arrive in the morning and after he has put his luggage in his room, we can start with our training. He will find out that we don’t train as much as he seems to think we need to train and after two days he will think that he can beat us at every turn.

However. I have a surprise for him in store. On the third day we will be sparring with him and his first opponent will be me. I will make him see that his–head is screwed on the wrong way.

First things first though, he needs to arrive on time and something tells me that he won’t. That he will take his sweet time to get here and that he hopes to get away with it.

I open a map on my laptop that contains the files of all my team–members and I make a new file for Makay a file to keep track of his screw–ups and achievements.

“Can we go to see Arion?” Rebel asks me and after I take another look at my assignments for Tech. I power down my laptop. I inform Captain Miles where I am going and he tells me to have fun.

Rebel dashes off to Uncle Major’s territory and as always she finds a spot in the sun to lie down, waiting for Arion to show up.

The dark grey Lycan walks into view pretty quickly and it surprises me and Rebel that he keeps coming closer, until he lies down on the other side of this so–called border.

Neither of us moves an inch, but Rebel is inhaling his scent, she wants to be able to recognize it in the future. A future in which Uncle Major will no longer be hiding in this territory, a future in which we can have him with us every day.

“Meadow, can you come to your office? We have some more intel.” Maryan says through the mind–link and Rebel lifts her head to look at Arion.

“Sorry, Uncle. Duty calls, until next time.” I say through the mind–link, even though I don’t expect him to respond.

Arion lifts his head as Rebel gets up and he slowly stands up, brushing his head against her head. A sign of affection between relatives in Lycan form and Rebel returns the favor, rubbing her head against his head.

Rebel runs back to the Squad house and I feel a whole lot better with the knowledge that Uncle Major is still there. One day I might be able to get him to show himself again, but I will patiently wait for him.
