He Finally Noticed Me Right When I Was Leaving novel Chapter 130

Franklin's expression stiffened for a fraction of a second, but with his head bowed, he concealed his true emotions flawlessly. "Why do you insist on torturing yourself, Pierce? Rip the band-aid off now and cut your losses..."

Before he could finish, Pierce's phone began to ring.

It was Felix. "Mr. Prescott, we've located Ms. Somerset."

Pierce shot up from his seat instantly, grabbing his car keys and striding toward the door. "Where is she? I'm heading there now."

Seeing him about to bolt, Franklin called out, "Pierce, you called us all the way out here in the middle of the night, and now you're just taking off?"

Pierce held up a hand, signaling him to wait.

He listened closely as Felix provided the details over the phone, muttering a few curt agreements before saying, "Keep your eyes on her. I'll be there immediately."

Hanging up, he turned to Franklin. "This villa isn't safe at night. You and Quinton are staying here tonight to protect Lyra."

Quinton looked completely bewildered. "The villa isn't safe? Why wouldn't it be safe?"

Totally lost, Quinton turned to Franklin. "What the hell did he mean by that? Is the house going to get robbed or something?"

Franklin let out a chilling sneer. "It's far worse than thieves."

"Then what is it? Ghosts?!"

Quinton practically hugged himself, his eyes darting warily around the opulent, empty room.

Franklin's expression was incredibly dark. Gripping his phone tightly, he stood up. "I'm going to the restroom."

Once inside, he immediately logged into the streaming platform.

*Serene Sanctuary* was offline.

He had no choice but to leave her a string of direct messages.

[Where are you right now?]

[Be careful of your surroundings. Someone might be following you.]

[No matter what happens, protect yourself. If you need any help, message me immediately. I'm online 24/7.]

After sending the frantic texts, *Serene Sanctuary*'s profile icon remained stubbornly gray.

Franklin let out a harsh sigh and turned every single notification sound and ringer on his phone to max volume.

But after waiting for hours, there was still zero response.

...

After receiving the call, Seraphina had slipped out of the hospital and was waiting near the main entrance.

The patient load had been light recently, and given that it was past midnight, the entrance was completely deserted.

After standing there for about ten minutes, a sleek motorcycle slowly pulled up right in front of her.

The rider was wearing a heavy helmet with a dark visor completely obscuring his face. Slightly apprehensive, she tentatively asked, "Excuse me, are you..."
