He Finally Noticed Me Right When I Was Leaving novel Chapter 132

Pierce turned his head and spat out a mouthful of blood, a cold sneer hanging on his lips. "Mr. Quincy of the Harlow Group, right?"

Caspian's body hadn't fully recovered yet, and having just taken several hard hits, he was gasping for air. Yet, he maintained that cynical, devil-may-care attitude, even managing a laugh. "I'm incredibly honored that Mr. Prescott knows who I am."

Pierce slowly straightened up, rolling his wrists until the joints popped.

He looked at Caspian, recalling what Felix had told him earlier.

Mr. Quincy was mediocre at business, but incredibly good-looking.

Seeing him in person today, Pierce had to admit that Caspian was indeed striking.

He wasn't conventionally handsome; his features leaned more toward a wicked, rebellious charm. He carried a reckless aura, sporting a single stud in his left ear. His skin was slightly tan, but his eyes were startlingly bright.

Pierce didn't understand.

Seraphina's type had always been the gentle, refined sort like Silas. Why had her tastes suddenly completely shifted to a street punk like this?

Or had she been deceived?

It wasn't impossible. Seraphina used to bury herself in books, and after graduation, she threw her entire soul into her work. She knew far too little about the dark underbelly of society.

Most importantly, he had learned from the police that Seraphina had encountered numerous dangers over the past three years.

It was probably all because she had gotten tangled up with this thug!

At that thought, Pierce's fury blazed even hotter. He said coldly, "If you have the guts to touch my wife, aren't you afraid you won't live long enough to spend whatever money you make?"

Caspian scoffed mockingly. "Is Mr. Prescott making a joke? You forcefully acquired my company. Where am I supposed to make any money?"

Pierce's eyes narrowed dangerously as his rationality began to return. "So, you approached Seraphina just to get back at me, didn't you?"

Caspian smiled and was about to retort when he caught sight of a figure in his peripheral vision.

He froze completely.
