He Loves Me Right, Finally novel Chapter 121

This time, it was Adriel riding the motorcycle with Wynette behind him as they tore through the night.

Adriel wasn't driving very fast.

Sitting behind him, Wynette poked his shoulder unhappily. "Adriel, why are you driving like a grandma? Twist the throttle harder..."

If circumstances allowed it, Wynette would've dragged the man off the bike and taken over herself.

The moment she finished speaking, Adriel accelerated instantly, and the motorcycle shot forward like an arrow released from a bow.

Wynette slammed straight into Adriel's back.

Her arms instinctively wrapped tightly around his waist.

That impact hurt her nose badly enough that tears almost sprang to her eyes.

Thank God her nose was natural. Otherwise, that hit probably would've knocked an implant crooked.

With her nose still aching slightly, Wynette buried her face against Adriel's back. She rubbed it a few times against him while holding onto him tightly.

The moment Wynette wrapped her arms around him, Adriel's body stiffened slightly.

When he felt her rubbing against his back afterward, his entire body became even tenser.

Meanwhile, Wynette remained completely oblivious to his reaction.

All she knew was that every part of him she touched felt ridiculously firm.

Without thinking, her hand even pressed absently against his abs twice.

Only afterward did Wynette suddenly realize her actions were a little inappropriate, and she awkwardly pulled her hand back.

Looking at the back of Adriel's head, Wynette thought about how he'd joined her in beating up Noah earlier and couldn't stop herself from laughing.

Then she spread her arms wide and let out a cheerful shout into the wind.

The instant Wynette released him, Adriel immediately slowed the motorcycle down.

"Where to?" Adriel asked in a low voice. "Home?"

Wynette smacked the back of his head lightly. "Nope. I finally took my bike out tonight, so obviously I'm not heading back until my baby gets enough time on the road."

Hearing her words, Adriel simply chuckled softly.

Then he continued racing through the night with Wynette.

Eventually, he drove all the way out to the beach, far from the city center.

After getting off the motorcycle, Wynette carried over a plastic bag filled with beer and snacks.

The two of them had stopped at a 24-hour convenience store along the way to buy them.

After parking the motorcycle properly, Adriel turned around to find Wynette already sitting on the roadside guardrail.

Beyond them stretched a wide sandy beach and an endless dark ocean.

The sound of waves crashing against the rocks echoed in their ears.

Adriel sat down beside Wynette.

Wynette cracked open a can of beer and handed it to him.

After Adriel accepted it, she opened one for herself and tipped her head back for a drink.

The sea breeze was strong, blowing her hair into a mess.

Adriel removed his jacket and draped it over Wynette's shoulders. "The wind's cold."

Wynette instinctively wanted to take it off.

If he gives me his jacket, what about him? Won't he be cold?

Sensing her intention to return it, Adriel spoke firmly. "Wear it."

Looks like we still went too easy on Noah earlier.
