He Loves Me Right, Finally novel Chapter 186

By the time they reached the hotel, the rain had begun to ease.

It was no longer the violent storm they had faced upon arriving in Lucardia—no thunder, no lightning tearing through the sky.

The world outside was still wrapped in a heavy, ink-dark gray, but the downpour had softened considerably.

At the hotel front desk, Adriel opened his phone and showed the booking confirmation. "Hello, I've made a reservation."

The receptionist typed something on the computer, confirmed the details, and handed over the key card. "Mr. Gallagher, here is your key card. Your room is on the 88th floor. Thank you for choosing Fourmere Hotel. If you need anything, please contact room service."

"Thank you." Adriel took the card, then immediately took Wynette's hand and led her toward the elevators.

The entire building belonged to the hotel.

He had booked a presidential suite with a dedicated elevator that went straight up—access required only a key card.

When they reached the 88th floor, he found Room 88 and swiped them in.

The lights came on instantly. "Go take a hot shower first and blow-dry your hair. I'll have them send some ginger tea up," Adriel said.

Even though he had shielded her the entire way, the storm had been too strong.

Wynette was still soaked through in places, no matter how well he protected her.

"You should change too. You're wet," she said, checking him carefully. Thankfully, his left arm hadn't gotten soaked.

He had been holding her with his left arm and holding the umbrella with his right.

Without waiting, he guided her straight into the bathroom. "You take care of yourself first."

His tone left no room for argument.

Wynette had no choice but to comply.

Inside, she cleaned up and dried off.

Adriel called for a change of clothes to be delivered.

Just as he finished the call, Wynette walked out while towel-drying her hair.

"Take off your clothes and wear the bathrobe for now. I'll blow-dry your hair."

She stepped forward and began unbuttoning his coat.

Seeing her insist, he complied.

After changing into the bathrobe, the doorbell rang.

It was ginger tea, sent up by the hotel.

Adriel thanked the staff and brought in the tray.

Wynette obediently finished her cup. After he did the same, she motioned for him to sit on the sofa.

She plugged in the hairdryer from the bathroom and stood behind him, gently drying his wet hair.

Outside, the rain continued to fall against the glass. The sound of rain blended with the hum of the dryer.

Adriel sat straight, completely still, letting her take care of him.

"Done," Wynette said, lightly combing through his hair.

She put the hairdryer away and sat beside him.

Looking out at the storm, she sighed softly. "I wonder when this rain will stop."

At this rate, she wasn't sure if she would even make it to the supplier today.

Adriel looked at her and spoke calmly. "I've arranged everything. A car is already waiting downstairs. Once you change, I'll take you to the supplier."

Before they even arrived, he had already had Blaze coordinate a rental car, and right now, it was parked right at the hotel entrance.

A driver familiar with Lucardia's roads was also on standby.

As for the supplier...

He had already had a background check done.

The owner's surname was Caldwell, and he was a local in Lucardia.

Because of the storm, he was currently staying at the factory and had no plans to leave until the weather cleared.

In other words, they could catch him there at any time.
