Sebastian kissed her with an undeniable, consuming intensity.
Helena did not pull away.
She simply had nowhere to run.
When Sebastian asserted his dominance, it was a terrifying force—a fact she knew better than anyone.
So, she surrendered.
Her hands instinctively rested against his chest in a half-hearted attempt to resist.
"Sebastian..." she gasped out his name the second his grip loosened.
Sebastian cut her off effortlessly. "Keep raising your voice, and I can't guarantee Skye won't look over. What would she think if she saw Helena kissing another man?"
Helena was speechless.
What an absolute bastard!
He had been ruthless from the very beginning.
A leopard never changed its spots.
But his threat worked; her guard immediately went up.
Skye's presence made her painfully cautious.
Seeing her fall silent brought a smug sense of satisfaction to Sebastian.
"Helena, I am getting more and more curious about your end game," he murmured, finally stepping back.
Regaining her composure, she fired back, "Maybe I just have a grudge against Janetta and want to watch her squirm? Everyone knows her entire world revolves around you. Wouldn't it be perfect if you were the one to file for divorce? For someone with an ego like hers, it would drive her completely insane."
Her words walked a fine line between truth and provocation.
Sebastian merely listened, his expression unreadable.
"Have you thought about the consequences of making me file for divorce?" he finally asked.
She offered no reply.
Unbothered, Sebastian chose not to press the issue any further.
The loaded conversation came to an abrupt halt.
Keeping a low profile, he drove Helena and Skye straight to the production set.
He didn't linger. Once he watched them walk inside, he pulled away.
