Helena's expression was a little strained. "I think that iced coffee from this morning didn't sit well with me. My stomach's upset. I need to use the restroom."
Julian didn't hold back his exasperation. "How many times have I told you not to drink iced stuff in the morning? Why do you never listen?"
Helena stuck her tongue out playfully, not daring to argue back.
"Hurry up and go. I'm taking you straight to a doctor right after," Julian ordered, his face stern.
"This is exactly why Skye copies you. I tell her no ice cream, and she sneaks it anyway. Then when I scold her, she practically brags about it." Julian sighed, running a hand through his hair in defeat.
Helena murmured an "oh," knowing better than to push her luck.
Hunching over slightly, she scurried off toward the restrooms.
Julian couldn't help but laugh out of sheer frustration.
Shaking his head affectionately, he headed out first to pull the car around.
Julian hated having chauffeurs drive him; he preferred to handle these things himself.
It was a habit born from his past experiences.
He trusted his own hands far more than anyone else's.
When Helena finally emerged from the restroom, she felt significantly better.
Julian had already texted her.
Julian: [Are you done yet?]
She looked down at her phone, ready to type a reply.
Before her fingers even touched the keyboard, a powerful arm clamped around her waist.
"Ah—!" Helena gasped.
Before she could even process what was happening, Sebastian had a hand clamped over her mouth and was forcibly dragging her away.
Helena stared up at him in sheer terror.
But Sebastian didn't utter a single word.
He hauled her straight out through a discreet side door.
His car was parked in an inconspicuous spot, deliberately avoiding the main exit where the press was swarming.
He shoved her into the passenger seat and instantly locked the doors.
