He Never Loved Me Until the Day I Finally Left Him novel Chapter 875

After watching Skye Campbell enter the examination room, Helena turned and walked toward Donovan Campbell's room.

When the butler saw Helena, he shook his head.

"Ma'am, please don't agitate him," the butler cautioned.

"I won't," Helena smiled gently.

The butler didn't say anything more.

It was true—Helena never actively provoked Donovan. Even when he berated her, she simply took it in silence.

The one who stirred up trouble every single day was Julian.

Yet, Donovan was completely powerless against Julian.

In the end, he only managed to infuriate himself.

The butler quickly opened the door for her, and Helena stepped inside.

Donovan's sharp gaze immediately landed on her. She noticed that his complexion was indeed terrible.

He looked exceptionally pale.

"What are you doing here?" he demanded coldly.

Helena remained calm. "Just came to see you."

"I'm not fortunate enough to have you in my family," he rejected her outright.

Helena didn't mind.

Donovan seemed used to this dynamic as well.

Over the years, no matter how harshly he spoke to her, she never lost her temper.

Her stoicism practically drained the fight right out of him.

"I just came to tell you that Julian and I are getting a divorce. He won't be leaving Coralia," she stated evenly, not avoiding his intense gaze.

Donovan was genuinely caught off guard.

He wasn't surprised by the divorce itself.

He was surprised that Julian had actually agreed.

Donovan knew his grandson's stubborn temper better than anyone.

That was why, despite his deep dissatisfaction with their marriage, he had always pressured Julian, not Helena.
