He Never Loved Me Until the Day I Finally Left Him novel Chapter 710

Charlotte: [Got it. Don't worry.]

Helena trusted Charlotte's competence.

Besides, Charlotte harbored just as much visceral hatred for Janetta Ramirez.

Janetta had destroyed Charlotte's life, turning her into an orphan with nothing left.

Helena had been the one to pull Charlotte out of that living hell, giving her a second chance at life.

Because of that fierce loyalty, Helena rarely had to micromanage her.

"As for the filming locations," Helena continued over a quick phone call, "if anything changes, have the writers tweak the script, or tell the director to speed up the schedule. There shouldn't be too many scenes left."

"Right. We don't have much left to shoot in Riverton. We just need about a week to wrap up the scenes at the villa."

Charlotte estimated the timeline quickly.

Helena gave a soft hum of acknowledgment.

Charlotte quickly added, "Property management has already cleared us to stay until the shoot is done. We have a signed contract with them, so backing out now wouldn't do them any favors. They won't want to make a big fuss out of it. But rest assured, if they do try to pull the plug, we'll just rewrite the script."

"Sounds good. Thanks for handling this," Helena said.

With all her instructions clearly delivered, she ended the call.

She stared at her darkened screen for a long moment before taking a deep breath and walking toward the master bedroom.

Just as she stepped inside, Julian emerged from the en-suite bathroom.

He was enveloped in a cloud of warm steam.

His dark hair was still damp and slightly disheveled.

A single white towel hung low on his waist.

Unlike a typical corporate executive who spent all day behind a desk, his physique was stunningly sculpted.

Every lean muscle was defined.

He radiated an intense, raw magnetism.

As he closed the distance between them, his predatory presence felt almost suffocating.

Helena didn't retreat, though; she simply stood her ground.

"Go take a shower," Julian murmured.

"Oh, right. Let me grab my clothes," she stammered slightly.

Julian offered a faint nod.

He stepped aside, allowing Helena to quickly slip past him and make a beeline for the walk-in closet.

Hearing her approach, he glanced over his shoulder.

"We'll leave it at that for now," he told the person on the line before hanging up.

He tossed the phone aside and sauntered toward her.

Helena rooted her feet to the floor, refusing to shy away from his intense gaze.

"Why didn't you dry your hair?" she asked.

Julian's response was effortlessly bold. "Dry it for me."

Since he had asked so bluntly, Helena didn't argue.

She retrieved the hairdryer from the vanity and walked back over to him.

He took a seat on the edge of the bed.

Standing in front of him, she turned on the dryer and began running her fingers through his dark strands.

His hair was incredibly thick, meaning it would take quite a bit of time to get it fully dry.

She worked meticulously.

Ensuring not a single drop of moisture remained.
