He Never Loved Me Until the Day I Finally Left Him novel Chapter 794

Sebastian shot her a look. "?"

"You reek of smoke and cooking oil. It's making me nauseous," she stated bluntly.

A dark, incredulous laugh finally slipped past his lips.

But he didn't argue. He turned on his heel and strode straight toward the bathroom.

Moments later, the sound of running water echoed through the suite.

She paid it no mind.

She kept her head down and quietly enjoyed her breakfast.

Skye sent her a photo.

Skye: [Our breakfast!]

Helena smiled and snapped a picture of her own meal to send back.

Almost instantly, the little girl FaceTimed her, whining the second the call connected.

"Lena, are you eating all the good stuff without me? I can tell Sebastian made that," Skye pouted.

Helena offered a serene, unapologetic smile.

She simply looked affectionately at the girl on the screen.

"Are you feeling any better? You had a fever last night, and I was so scared," Skye asked, her tone shifting to genuine concern.

"I'm perfectly fine now. Don't worry about me," she reassured her with a laugh.

"Oh, okay! I'm going to the aquarium later..."

The little girl immediately launched into a rapid-fire story, chattering away endlessly.

Helena propped her phone up against a glass.

Kyle drifted into the frame at some point.

Unlike Skye's outgoing nature, he seemed much more reserved.

It wasn't exactly shyness, just a polite hesitation.

"Hi, Helena," he greeted her softly.

Her expression softened the moment she saw him. "Kyle, are you getting used to Coralia? I'm tied up today, but tomorrow I'll take both of you out to play."

"Okay," he replied, his voice sweet and eager.

He clearly loved talking to her.

But mid-conversation, his eyes suddenly blew wide open.

"What's wrong?" she asked, momentarily confused.

Beside him, Skye was already covering her mouth, trying to stifle a giggle—or maybe a gasp.

Right then, Helena felt a wave of damp, lingering heat radiate against her back.
