Healing Kisses (Sophia and Santiago) novel Chapter 207

206
Ragnar
There are a lot of things that terrify me, but I never thought that watching my mate mount a fucking water dragon and disappear into the ocean with her brother would ever be one of them. In no world would that have ever crossed my mind.
Svetlana and the other fish bitches are all on their knees as I pace the lobby of this god-forsaken- whatever the fuck this place is supposed to be- and none of them are leaving alive until get Sophia and Oliver back.
"Where is the other one?" I demand. The Siren looks up at me as if she doesn't know what it is I'm talking about. I crouch down, gripping her face so she doesn't look away from me. "Where is the she wolf?"
"Safe," she says, tightly.
"You're not. So, you're going to bring her out for me, or l am going to start killing your people here. You have one minute to give me my brother's mate," | snarl at her. She scrambles away, looking up at me with anger in her eyes.
"You will get her back when the Queen returns," she shakes her head. "You kill anyone here, and she dies with them. She has twenty-six more minutes to go."
I take the chair from the receptionist's desk and place it in front of her. Twenty-six minutes is going to feel like a fucking eternity. I pull out my phone and dial for Ivar, who is supposed to be escorting General Kingston back to his estate.
"Did she tell you to go fuck yourself already?" he answers, laughing.
"We have a situation. Call Zara and have her and our entire security team down here as fast as you can. They have Kaylee, and they won't give her to me."
"Are you fucking kidding me?" he growls.
"I wish I was, Ivar. Ask the General if they have divers.
Sophia and Oliver were taken under the water to see some fucking fish, asshole," I sigh.
"Shit," he groans. "Okay, we're on our way."
"Hurry up, brother. Before I start grilling this fucking fish people," I hang up and look down at the woman.
The woman lets out an exasperated sigh and lowers her gaze, but she doesn't do a single thing. It takes Zara and Ivar 12 minutes to get here, with all the guards I sent over when Sophia got on that plane. The other sirens all begin to bunch in together when my men swarm around us.
"She's on the top floor, someone shouts. "Your wolf is on the top floor, sir."
"Marina," the woman hisses at her.
"This woman doesn't care about us. She serves nim.
Everyone does. He's like your mate, only with them," she looks at the woman in front of me.
"Go get Kaylee, Ivar, I call out. I look at the other siren and motion to her to go with him and his team. She gets up and waves them over to follow her into a glass elevator.
"I didn't force her to go down there," Svetlana says after a while. She knows she's lost her leverage. Where the hell are Anna and Xavier? "She went of her own volition."
"I believe you," I nod because that is definitely something Sophia would do. "It's the only reason you're still alive."
"-this bitch coaxed her into it. I told her not to go, and then Oliver was like, 'll go with you. As soon as they left, these slimy assholes shoved me into the elevator and told me to stay in that creepy room upstairs. They took my phone," Kaylee and Ivar come out of the glass elevator together.
"My King," one of the guards with them comes over with Sophia's and Oliver's belongings. He also has Kaylee's phone. I take it, and I hate that a part of me is glad blinks rapidly. "It looks like they cut a female up to-"
"Did you try to feed my pregnant mate flesh?" | growl, turning my attention to the woman.
"Lady Sophia deserves only the best, and you, with all your," she looks me over with contempt. "disgusting beast behavior, will never be able to give her what she needs.
You are a lowly surface dweller. She is one of our purest."
Her eyes glow the same blue shade that Sophia's do when she's angry. Zara comes over with Anna and Xavier.
My fist connects with his face the moment he is close enough. He laughs, spitting a mouthful of blood.
"What the fuck is your problem now, asshole?" Anna shoves me.
"You two stupid fucks let Sophia and Oliver get taken by a fucking sea monster," I growl at the two of them.
"What are you talking about?" She looks around until her eyes land on Kaylee. "Where is she?"
"Somewhere underwater," Kaylee shrugs.
"And my brother?" A woman in a lab coat steps forward.
"Where is Oliver, Svetlana?"
The siren looks at her with a blank expression and doesn't say another word.
"She's not being helpful, I sigh.
"Can you try to reach her?" Zara asks me.
"I don't know how she's down there," | shake my head. "If I force myself into her head, she could lose focus. I can be doing more harm than good. I'd have to wait for her to call out to me."
"My King," General Kingston comes over to us. "Forgive me. Oliver can be a little unpredictable. We don't have any divers who can dive to where they have gone. The pressure is too much. Oliver is the only one who has ever been able to withstand going down to their den."
"Fuck," I growl, kicking the chair I had been sitting in. I turn my attention to the siren. "How do you get in touch with him?"
"He will return her soon, she rolls her eyes at me.
I nod. Before she can try to get away, I step forward, wrapping my hand around her throat.
"Ragnar," Zara shouts as I pull her with me towards the walls of this place.
I place my hand on the wall without taking my eyes off this thing. She looks back at me as if she doesn't understand what I'm doing. I push the heat of my affinity towards my hand. It doesn't take long for the water to begin to bubble.
"You have five seconds before I boil everything in this fucking fish tank," I warn her. Her eyes snap to the wall when she understands what I'm doing.
"No," she reaches for my hand and screams when she burns her fingers on my skin.
The sound she makes hurts my ears, but it doesn't hurt me the way I see the others flinch. I can feel what she's trying to do, but there's something blocking her. Perhaps Sophia's influence over me is what's preventing her from channeling my blood. I squeeze a little tighter.
"She's marked you," she chokes out, gripping my wrist. I'll call"
"What?"
"I'll call her here," she pats my arm. I release her, and she falls to the floor coughing. She makes a sound, pointing at the glass. I remove my hand, and she stands cautiously. "I'm sorry. I didn't know."
"Didn't know what?" I demand. She bows her head low, unable to look me in the eyes again. "You didn't know what?" I growl. "What are you talking about?"
"She holds the strongest Siren call we ve ever seen on an outsider. She has claimed her throne, and those marked by the Queen are hers. She has no idea what Galloway did to her," she straightens up and pulls at the collar of my shirt. "You are her mate. You've taken her strength into yourself. A healing Kiss."
