“Shut up.” Sarah said coldly. “Martin deserved it. What does any f this have to do with the Fosters? I’d even say Ryan did the right thing.”

Vivian stared at Sarah in disbelief. “Sarah, Martin is your grands. How can you say that? Your grandson was beaten instead of caring about him, you say he deserved it?”

Lily turned to Nina. “If Nina had told us earlier that you were her boyfriend, I never would’ve agreed to the engagement. Things wouldn’t have turned out like this.”

Ryan didn’t even look at her. He said coldly, “I told you not to show that ugly face of yours in front of me.”

Lily froze, but she still forced a polite smile. “Got it.”

Then she walked up to Nina and spoke softly. “Nina, I’m sorry. Ieally didn’t know and only agreed to the engagement because I was unaware. Since you and Ryan care about each other, I’ll give the engagement back to you.”

Lily felt like her heart was breaking. She didn’t want to give up e engagement, but with things blowing up like this, insisting on marrying Ryan would only make things worse.

Besides, she could see it clearly now. Ryan didn’t even want to look at her. He was completely obsessed with Nina.
