Chapter 137
Chapter 137
The next morning, after breakfast, Nina let Sarah know she was going out and headed out the door.
As she passed Hazel, Nina tapped Hazel’s chair and said, “Come with me.”
Hazel didn’t really get it, but she did as she was told and followed Nina.
Nina tossed Hazel a helmet and said, “Get on the bike.”
Hazel took the helmet, but she was honestly too nervous to climb on.
She’d seen Nina ride before. Nina was a total maniac on that motorcycle.
Even if one didn’t have a heart condition, one’d end up with one after riding with Nina.
Nina raised an eyebrow at Hazel as she put on her helmet, teasing, “What’s the matter? Not daring to get on?”
Hazel hesitated, took a deep breath, squeezed her eyes shut, and, said, “I’ll get on!”
Hazel gritted her teeth and climbed onto the bike.
Nina fired up the engine and shot off like a rocket.
Hazel screamed at the top of her lungs.
And her screams didn’t stop the entire ride.
She had no idea how long she’d been screaming, but by the time the bike finally stopped, Hazel’s face was white as a sheet, and her throat was so raw she could barely speak.
Hazel thought, ‘That was insane! I thought I was going to die.
Nina set her helmet on the bike, not giving Hazel a second to catch her breath. “Keep up,” she said, striding off.
Hazel dropped her helmet and jogged after Nina, trying to keep up.
Hazel looked around and finally realised they were in the villa district of the Northside Estates.
This place was a far cry from the neighbourhood where the Swansons lived.
The Swanson residence was just a regular villa, but up here, it was all about the truly elite.
Some of the villas here were worth a whopping 30 million.
Hazel couldn’t help but wonder what Nina was up to, bringing her to a place like this.
Before she could think too much about it, Nina strode up to the gate, entered the code, and went right in without a second thought.
Hazel was totally stunned.
She thought, ‘Wait, what?
“This is the rich people’s neighbourhood. How does Nina even know the gate code for a place like this?’
Before Hazel could even react, Nina strolled in with practised ease, like she’d done it a hundred times before, and punched in the code for the front door.

Chapter 137
As soon as the door opened, a guy burst out, yelling, “Baby, I’ve missed you like crazy!”
The guy grabbed Nina and hugged her tight.
Hazel gaped, completely lost.
She thought, ‘Crap, this is bad.
‘Nina’s actually cheating on Ryan..
‘And this time, it’s not that old SN CEO; he’s a total young stud.
‘Ryan’s getting played for a fool.
If Ryan knew what Hazel was thinking, he would be speechless.
Nina frowned at the guy hugging her, then kicked him without hesitation.
The guy seemed to know exactly what she was about to do. He dodged her kick with ease, then complained playfully, “You little brat. After all this time, that’s how you greet me?”
He looked up at Nina.
Seeing the guy’s face, Hazel was so stunned that she could barely get a word out.
It was Morgan, a legend in the world of painting.
He was the youngest painting prodigy in the country. Nobody else had made it this far at his
His artwork had racked up a mountain of awards.
Everyone wanted to learn painting from Morgan, but he shot them all down.
Most people couldn’t even get a glimpse of him, let alone actually meet the guy.
Hazel couldn’t believe it: she was actually seeing the legendary Morgan in real life.
He was just standing there, right in front of her.
He looked way better in person than in any of his online pics.
Hazel just stood there, her jaw practically on the floor.
age.
Morgan looked Hazel up and down, then turned to Nina and said; “So this is the apprentice you picked out for me? She looks a little clueless. Are you sure she’s got any talent for painting?”
Hazel was completely floored.
She thought, ‘Wait, did I really just hear that?
‘Nina actually introduced me to Morgan and wants me to be his apprentice?
‘No way!
‘Is this real, or am I just dreaming?’
