Matthew started the car, tossing out casually, “No big deal. You might just end up in a wheelchair.”

Then, the car shot forward like an arrow released from a bow.

Sarah was startled. “What’s up with Matthew? Why’s he driving like a maniac? What if they get into an accident?”

Since Nina went with Matthew, Ethan hopped into Sarah’s car.

Ethan’s brows furrowed. Before he could say anything, he saw Matthew’s car up ahead, barreling straight through the red light without even slowing down.

Ethan’s face went pale. “Crap, this is bad.”

He quickly turned to Sarah. “Grandma, go ride with Dad. I’ll take this car and catch up to them.”

“Hurry!” Sarah scrambled out of the car, her voice tight with worry. “You have to keep Nina safe, no matter what.”

She hesitated for a moment, then added, “And watch out for yourself too.”

Ethan just nodded and told the driver to step on it.

Just behind Sarah, Lily watched as Matthew’s car sped off, a sly, almost sinister grin spreading across her face.

‘Good luck, Nina,’ Lily mused, her eyes glinting with mischief.

Meanwhile, Matthew had the car flying at 110 mph, his whole face lit up with manic excitement. “This is insane! Nina, are you ready for the surprise I’ve got for you? Straight from hell itself.”

Nina had one foot up on the seat in front, phone in hand, texting back.

The car zigzagged through traffic, swerving left and right like he owned the road.

The whole street felt like his personal playground. He was tearing it up, making the ride as wild as it got.

Just then, a massive truck came barreling straight at them. Matthew’s face changed in an instant as he yanked the wheel hard to the side.

Suddenly, Nina lunged forward from the back, locking her arm around his neck. Her voice was chilling, almost supernatural. “Looking to die? Let me help you on your way.”
