Chapter 160
Chapter 160
Nina smiled.
‘Wow, he really picked it up fast,’ she thought.
Ethan glanced at Nina cautiously. “He should be able to help, right?”
‘Nina should be quite important to him,’ Ethan thought to himself.
Nina paused for a couple seconds. “What did I just send to your account?”
“Money,” Ethan blurted out. “Like, a crazy amount.”
Seriously, he’d never seen that much cash before in his whole life.
Nina didn’t say a word. She just sent another 60 million to Ethan.
Ethan was totally lost. “Why are you sending me more money?”

‘Nina, just because you’re loaded doesn’t mean you should throw it around like this, right?’ Ethan thought.
Nina said, “Can 120 million make your problems go away?”
Ethan’s jaw dropped. He was speechless.
He thought, ‘Seriously, what is she talking about?
‘I couldn’t understand at all.’
“If 120 million can’t bury the one messing with you, then go for 300 million, 600 million, keep piling it on until he’s done for,” Nina said coolly. “If you need more, hit me up. But don’t bother coming back until he’s finished.”
With that, Nina walked away without looking back.
Ethan’s jaw dropped. He was speechless.
He thought, ‘Wow, I’ve really been living under a rock.
“Turns out, if someone gives you trouble, you can just drown them in cash until they disappear.
‘Guess I just learned something new.
After heading upstairs, Nina stopped by Sarah’s room first to let her know she was okay,
Seeing Nina safe, Sarah breathed a sigh of relief. “Matthew’s nuts, honey. If you ever run into him again, just do your best to avoid him.”
Nina snorted, “Avoid him?”

Sarah could tell from Nina’s attitude that she didn’t take her words seriously. She wanted to say more, but just let out a long sigh. “Alright, I won’t try to stop you. You always have your own reasons for everything you do.”
Honestly, Sarah used to worry about Nina a lot.
She was always afraid someone would mess with her.
But after the birthday party, Sarah finally realized that Nina had some serious connections and skills.
Just Ryan and Elaine’s reputation alone wouldn’t have pulled this off.
Take Morgan for example, he made it clear he was only there for Nina.
And then there was Barry.
When he left, he only said goodbye to Nina, acting like he didn’t even know Ryan existed.
Elaine had even said she was just handling the logistics. Every single big shot at that party was there for Nina.
If Nina didn’t have some real clout, there was no way she could’ve pulled in all those power players.
And as for those rumors about Nina picking up her charm from nightclub girls?
That was just ridiculous.
The guests tonight were all top-tier. If they wanted women, they’re surrounded by gorgeous heiresses every day. They would never need to go slumming at a nightclub.
And honestly, all those guys looked like the kind who kept things strictly above board.
At the birthday party, Nina had everything running like clockwork. Relatives who’d traveled from far away, her mom’s side of the family, her friends, and all her business partners were full of praise for her.
‘Could Ryan really take all the credit for this?’ Sarah wondered.
She just couldn’t believe someone could become so impressive overnight. It had to be Scarlet’s careful guidance that made Nina turn out so amazing.
Nina looked up at Sarah, hesitated for a moment, and then said, “Grandma, if I told you Matthew must die, what would you do?”
Sarah shot up from her seat, totally freaked out. “What? Are you seriously thinking about killing him?”
Before Nina could even respond, Sarah grabbed her hand, saying anxiously, “Nina, I know you’re burning with anger, but you can’t cross that line! Killing someone is just too much!”
Nina chuckled. “Chill. I’m not gonna kill him,” she said.
Sarah breathed a sigh of relief. “That’s good. Nina, no matter what happens, you can’t put yourself in danger.

If something happened to you, how would I ever live without you?”
“Don’t worry. I know what I’m doing,” Nina replied.
Sarah sat down again, looking worried. “Why did you say out of nowhere that Matthew must die?”
Nina looked up, meeting Sarah’s worried eyes. After a brief pause, she said quietly, “It was Matthew. He’s the one who poisoned you.”
Nina always felt that, with Sarah getting older, there were just some things better left unsaid.
