As she spoke, Waverly reached out to grab Nina’s hair.

Vivian had just walked in and saw the whole thing. Her face went pale, and she snapped, “Nina, what the hell is wrong with you? She’s your aunt. How dare you lay a hand on her?”

Vivian thought, ‘Nina is completely out of control.

‘Hitting her brother was bad enough, but now she’s even attacking her aunt?’

Nina didn’t even spare her a glance. She strode right up to Waverly, her voice icy and indifferent. “You’d better know your place. This isn’t a restaurant. If you want to order food, go find a restaurant.”

Waverly shot Nina a venomous glare, her teeth clenched. “Well, look at you! Got some guts after all these years, huh? You think just because you’ve got people backing you up, I can’t touch you? Just you wait. I’ll make you pay.”

Nina stuffed her hands in her pockets, looking all defiant. “I’ve been waiting for you, Auntie.”

With that, Nina tossed a mischievous glance at Matthew, who was quietly eating, flashed a wicked grin, and swaggered out.

After Nina left, Vivian went to help Waverly up.

Waverly slapped her hand away. “Get lost! This is all because of the way you raised your daughter!”

Vivian looked uncomfortable, but tried to keep her tone gentle. “Nina’s just being immature. Don’t let her get under your skin.”

If she didn’t still need Waverly’s help, she would’ve told her off on the spot.

Vivian fumed inwardly, ‘What the hell is Waverly’s problem?

‘She only thinks she can throw her weight around at home because her husband’s from Betrico.

‘Just wait. One day, Waverly will be the one begging me.’

Waverly snorted and snapped at Laura, “What are you standing there for? Go get me the healing foods. I’m having it today, no matter what.”

Laura shot her a cold look and said, “Without Nina’s say-so, I’m not allowed to serve it.”

With that, Laura turned and walked away.

He got up and headed downstairs, only to see Waverly going wild and smashing things.

Waverly had just shattered the brand-new vase he’d bought into a million pieces.

James’s face darkened. “Why are you throwing another fit?”

“Why don’t you go ask your darling daughter?” Waverly shot back, her hair wild, looking completely crazed.

James frowned. “Nina? Why are you messing with her?”

He thought, ‘Is she out of her mind?

‘Does she really think she’s the Swanson family’s golden girl, and everyone has to cater to her?

‘Why can’t she just mind her own business instead of stirring up drama with Nina?

‘Does she really think she can go up against Nina?

In this house, except for Sarah and Ethan, no one had ever gotten the better of Nina.

“I’m the one messing with her?” Waverly’s eyes widened in disbelief. “James, do you even hear yourself? 1 haven’t been back in years, all I wanted was some healing foods, and Nina basically shoved dog food at me!

“Nice one…” James almost said, but when he saw the killer look in Waverly’s eyes, he bit back the words.

He cleared his throat, face turning stern. “Did she say anything wrong? This is my house. Since when do you get to order food? You cat what the host serves, that’s basic guest etiquette. Seriously, did you forget everything Mom taught us about manners?”
