The Swansons thought, “There she goes again. Is she really going to chop Theodore up?’

Nina yanked the knife out, flopped onto the couch, crossed her legs, and started casually spinning the blade in her hand. “Keep your mouth shut unless I say otherwise. Say one more word, and this knife won’t care whose blood it draws.”

The whole villa went dead silent after what Nina had done.

Only then did Nina pull out her phone, dial a number, and as soon as it connected, she said coolly, “Come to the Swanson residence. I need you to help me settle a divorce.”

After hanging up, Nina leaned back on the couch, closed her eyes, and acted like she was about to take a nap.

The others just watched her in stunned silence.

No one even dared to utter a single word.

Everyone stayed perfectly still, sitting there quietly, barely even breathing.

After what felt like ages, the maid brought in a man dressed in a sharp suit.

When the Swansons saw him, everyone drew a sharp breath.

It was Joshua Mueller.

He was an ace lawyer.

No one expected that he would rush over just because of a single call from Nina.

As soon as Joshua walked in, he scanned the room for Nina and called out with total respect, “Boss.”

‘Boss?’ the Swansons were stunned.

Everyone in the room was totally floored.

They thought, ‘Wait, Nina is Joshua’s boss?

‘Is this some kind of joke?

‘She didn’t even finish school. How could she possibly be Joshua’s boss?

‘We must’ve heard wrong!

“How fast can you get Aunt Joanna’s divorce settled?” Nina didn’t bother with small talk. She went straight to the point.

“If Theodore agrees and signs the papers, there’s a thirty-day cooling-off period, then it’s done.

“If he refuses, we’ll go the usual route. Get a court date in as little as a week, and once the judge rules, the divorce goes through whether he likes it or not.” Joshua was already setting up his laptop as he explained.

Nina frowned. “I want all the paperwork done today. Is that okay?”

“If both sides sign the divorce agreement, we can head straight to court for mediation and get it all sorted in one day,” Joshua said.

Nina gave him a look. “So why didn’t you just tell me the fastest way right away?”

Joshua grinned. “Force of habit. I always explain the usual process first.”

Nina rolled her eyes, clearly not in the mood for chit-chat. “Just get started.”

Joshua nodded. “Have both parties discussed and agreed on the division of assets and custody arrangements?”

“We haven’t agreed on anything! I’m not signing those divorce papers! If you think you’ve got the ahead and sue me. I’ll drag this out till you’re begging for mercy!” Theodore shouted.

Seeing Joshua about to draft the divorce agreement, Theodore totally blew up, going off and yelling for everyone to hear.

Nina shot him a cold look, then stepped outside and called over a few of Ryan’s bodyguards waiting outside
