William had never been roasted like that before, and his face turned ugly. Just as he was about to fire back, Loren snatched a book off the table and smacked him on the head.

Loren said, “Can you shut up? You’re annoying! If even the Miracle Doctor can’t save your father, then nobody can. From now on, not a single word. Don’t mess with Ms. Swanson while she’s working.”
