Soon, a servant came out. When she saw two very attractive girls outside, she froze for a moment. “Who are you? Who are you looking for?”

“Nina Swanson, here to see Ryan Foster,” Nina said, her tone anything but friendly.

The servant was taken aback. As far as she knew, Ryan had never been in a relationship. Many girls who had come to see him were thrown out, and anyone who tried to get close often got into trouble.

She couldn’t understand why two girls would dare show up at Ryan’s door, and they were both so pretty.

The servant had originally intended to refuse Nina, but seeing how formidable she looked, she decided to go inside and notify Ryan first.

Ryan was sitting on the sofa, reading a book. Zachary and Maria were beside him, watching TV. Grace and Charles were leisurely sipping their coffee.

“Mr. Ryan Foster, there’s a young lady named Nina Swanson outside who wants to see you,” the servant said.

The moment she finished, Maria, Zachary, Grace, and Charles all looked at Ryan.

Ryan paused slightly, holding his book, then said calmly, “Send her away.”

His family’s interest was instantly piqued. Ryan had clearly been head over heels for Nina before. But now, he was acting unusually cold, refusing to see her.

Maria quickly moved to sit beside Ryan, curious. “You’ve given up on Nina?”

Ryan shot her a brief, indifferent glance and said nothing.

Maria was infuriated by his cold expression and was about to snap at him when suddenly there was a loud bang. The Fosters all jumped.

Maria stood up, clutching her chest, heart racing. “W-what just happened?”

Before she could finish, the servant rushed in, panicked. “Bad news. That girl, Nina, kicked the door open.”

The Fosters were astonished. They couldn’t believe that the heavy, expensive door they had invested in had been kicked open by a girl.

Then, they all looked at Ryan, as if silently asking whether he was dating some kind of monster.

Ryan rubbed his temple, feeling a bit helpless.

Before he could even get up, Nina walked in, her face cold and unreadable.

She strode straight to Ryan without acknowledging anyone else, placed a share acquisition contract in front of him, and then set a pen on the table with a sharp click. “Sign it,” she said coldly.

Nina was genuinely furious. Last night, she had taken Ryan off her blacklist and formally notified him that she would be going to the company today to divide up their shares.

But he had vanished all day. He didn’t answer her calls or reply to her messages, leaving her to wait at the company for a whole day.

Nina was livid. She had rushed straight from the company to the Foster residence.

Elaine had kept her distance from the moment they entered, afraid of getting caught in Nina’s fiery temper.

Once she felt she was at a “safe” distance, she couldn’t help but scold Ryan. “What’s wrong with you? Why did you have to provoke Nina? I wasted an entire day for nothing.”

Elaine was mad too. She had planned to accompany Nina to the company, wait after she took care of business, and then hang out together.

But Nina had spent the entire day waiting on Ryan at the company, fuming by the end of it. Now they couldn’t hang out at

all.

She thought Ryan was completely useless.

Ryan gave Elaine a casual glance and then turned his attention back to Nina. “I’m not signing,” he said flatly.
