Chapter 320
“I’ll take a look in the storage room when nobody is in the house,” Anna said.
When Samuel passed away, Sarah was absolutely devastated.

Her sons wanted to clear out all of Samuel’s things, but Sarah stopped them. She and Samuel had been truly in love. Back in a time when most marriages were arranged, they were one of the few who actually married for love.
They’d built this family together, and Sarah just couldn’t bear the idea of not having anything of Samuel’s left after he was gone.
So, she set aside a small room just for his belongings.
Every so often, Sarah would go sit in Samuel’s room, just to feel close to him. But ever since Nina came back, it had been a long time since she last went there.
The more Sarah thought about it, the more uneasy she felt. “I think I should go check now. Who knows, maybe there really is something in there after all?”
With that, Sarah headed straight for the storage room.

Nina brought Linda and Luna over to Camden’s place.
Deborah opened the door. When she saw Nina, she glanced into the room and whispered, “Camden’s still in a bad mood. Don’t mind him. He’s just got a temper.”
Nina nodded and headed straight for Camden’s study.
Camden was sitting there with his reading glasses on, engrossed in a book. When he saw Nina, he just grunted, shifted in his seat, and kept reading.
Nina’s lips curled into a faint smile. She lifted the bottle of wine, gave it a little wave under Camden’s nose, letting the rich aroma fill the room. “Are you going to keep sulking, or do you want to eat and have a drink?”
Camden’s eyes went straight to the bottle in her hand, completely transfixed.
It was Nysa’s wine. He hadn’t had a taste of that in ages.
Camden swallowed hard, but he wasn’t about to give in so easily. He lifted his chin, putting on airs and stubbornly ignoring Nina.
Nina chuckled. “Wow, you really are mad. Suit yourself, keep sulking. I’ll go have a few drinks with Mrs. Garrett.”
With that, she turned and walked out of the study.

Camden watched her leave, his beard practically bristling with frustration.

‘That little brat. Doesn’t she know how to coax me a little?’ he grumbled to himself. ‘Hey, I’ve got a temper too, you know! She ditched me, so of course I’m upset!’
Since it was dinner time, Nina went to help Deborah cook.
She’d picked up loads of fresh ingredients on her way here.
Camden had quite a temper. If nobody buttered him up, he could stay grumpy for a whole month.
Linda and Luna tried to help out in the kitchen, too, but since it was pretty small, Deborah kindly asked them to wait outside.
Deborah took the opportunity to chat with Nina for a bit. “Nina, give Chris a call when you have some free time.”
Nina froze for a second and then laughed. “Are you trying to rush me into marriage again?”
Deborah let out a long sigh. “I really have to nag him. He’s pushing thirty and still hasn’t settled down. Camden and I aren’t getting any younger, and who knows how long we’ll have to wait to finally hold a grandchild?
“Every time we mention marriage, it goes in one ear and out the other. He only ever listens to you. Maybe you can talk him into it for us?”
“He can’t get married if he doesn’t even have a girlfriend,” Nina said. “Seriously, how’s he supposed to settle down when he’s still single?”
“I’ve already lined up a few girls for him. They’re all from good families and pretty cute. Just get him to come back and meet them. That’s all I need,” Deborah replied.
Nina shrugged, a little helpless, “I’ll see what I can do.”
