Heiress Returns Family Shocks (Nina Swanson) novel Chapter 338

338 Chapter 338

338.Chapter 338

‘Not only did I win back the 150 million I’d lost, I even made another 150 million on top.

‘Damn, that felt good.”

Waverly was just about to call it a night when someone suddenly stepped in and blocked her path.

It was the casino manager.

“Ms. Swanson, you’re really on a winning streak tonight,” the manager said, grinning from ear to ear.

Waverly, still riding high, flashed a smile back. She said, “Yeah, I’m on fire tonight. Looks like your casino’s lucky vibes are rubbing off on me.”

The manager grinned. “How about stepping up to a high-stakes game?”

“High-stakes?” Waverly blinked, caught off guard. “What kind of high-stakes game are we talking about?”

“Each hand starts at 30 million,” the manager said, pausing for effect. “No cap on the bets, if luck’s on your side, you could walk away with billions in a single round.”

Waverly was stunned.

She’d been gambling all this time, and the biggest win she’d ever scored in a single hand was just 30 million.

Most of the time, it was only a few million or ten million at a time

Sure, she’d pocketed 300 million tonight, but she had to slog through the whole night to get there.

Winning billions in one go was just insane.

If she won, she could hit the jackpot for billions, but if she lost, she’d end up flat broke.

Waverly hesitated, holding back her answer, unsure what to say

The manager didn’t push her. He said, “Take your time to think it over. If you want in, I’ll take you there. If not, no pressure.” After a pause, he continued saying, “But honestly, you’re on fire tonight. You know how it is, gamblers, it’s all about luck. When fortune hits, there’s no stopping the cash flow.”

Just as the manager was about to walk away, Waverly clenched her jaw and called out, “Hold on. Count me in.”

This high-stakes table was do-or-die, win, and she’d be back on op; lose, and it’d be game over.

‘Tonight’s my lucky night. I’m bound to win, Waverly thought.

“Follow me,” the manager said respectfully, leading Waverly toward the VIP room.

It wasn’t long before the manager made his way to Simon’s office.

Nina and Simon were there, drinking wine and keeping an eye on Waverly through the surveillance screens.

The manager stepped in respectfully and said, “Nina, Simon, it’s all taken care of.”

Simon nodded, then glanced at Nina. He asked, “Nina, how long do you think her money will last?”

Nina leaned back in her chair, looking totally unbothered. She said, “That depends on how greedy she gets.”

Simon chuckled. “Honestly, with how ambitious she is, she’ll probably blow it all in one hand. But she doesn’t have that much cash; how’s she gonna cover a bet that could be close to billion?”

Nina just shrugged. “She doesn’t, but Martin and Matthew do.”

Simon was speechless.

He gave Nina a look, half exasperated, half confused. He asked, “So you’re basically tossing your own cash out there, then hustling to win it back, just for the fun of it?”

Seriously, he just couldn’t figure out what Nina was playing at.

She used Loren’s connections to blow 3 billion on a worthless piece of land, basically handing all that cash over to Martin and Matthew.

And now she was scheming against Waverly, just to claw that money back.

After all the plotting and maneuvering, it was still her own money in the end.

Nina curled her lips into a sly grin. She said, “Setting the bedt?’ half the fun.”

Successfully unlocked!

If she didn’t drive those three crazy, they’d neve

Martin was a real schemer, always playing a long game.

He was way smarter than Matthew.

After the surrogacy factory got busted, he didn’t dare make a move.

Selling the land was just a last resort; he was flat broke and had no other choice.

Even now that he had the cash, he wouldn’t jump into his next ove so easily

He was still holding out for the perfect opportunity.

But Nina wasn’t about to let him get even a shot at it.
