340 Chapter 340
340.Chapter 340
Martin was speechless.
Martin thought, ‘Is this guy actually threatening me? Damn it. If weren’t for his medical skills, I would’ve killed him a long time ago.
People kept passing by the office door, and Martin didn’t want anyone getting suspicious. He took a deep breath and finally wired 1.5 billion over to Matthew.
He couldn’t help but warn, “Don’t waste a single cent. We’ve still got organs to buy, and this is all the money I’ve got left.” Matthew didn’t even look back. He just turned and walked out.

At the casino, Waverly was pinned to a chair by a bunch of burly thugs.
One of them was waving a knife around, ready to hack her hand off.
Waverly was shaking all over, shouting, “No, please, don’t chop my hand off. I’ve got money. I’ll get someone to bring the cash, just don’t hurt me.”
The thug kept silent, just glancing over at the man sitting across from Waverly.
The man was in a sharp suit, strikingly handsome, with gold-rimmed glasses that gave him a refined yet ruthless look.
He held a cigarette between his fingers, took a slow drag, and blew out a smoke ring. In a casual, almost indifferent tone, he said, “I’m Vincent. I’ve been running this game for years, and no one’s ever dared to stiff me.”
“Yes, yes, I swear I won’t. I promise,” Waverly said, nodding frantically. “Just give me a minute. I’ll call someone, and the money will be here in no time.”
Vincent shot a look at his men.
One of them quickly handed Waverly a phone.
Her hands were shaking so badly that she could barely hold the phone.
She never imagined that after just two rounds, she’d not only lost everything she’d won tonight, but also the 450 million she had left.
And now, she was 3 billion in debt.
Waverly thought, ‘This can’t be happening.
‘I’d actually won a billion in the first round.
‘So why did I go all in on the second and lose it all?
‘What was I thinking? I’d already hit it big, so why didn’t I just cash out? No, I got greedy and wanted even more.
‘Great, now I wasn’t just broke. I was about to lose my life, too.
‘The guy in front of me looked like a total gentleman, but damn, he was cold-blooded.
‘He didn’t give me a chance to speak, just ordered his men to pin me down, ready to hack off my hand.’
Waverly didn’t dare hesitate. She grabbed her phone and dialed Martin in a panic.
The call went through right away, and Waverly broke down, saying, “Martin, hurry up and send me 3 billion.”
Martin picked up the phone, thinking he must’ve misheard. After a long moment, he said, “Did I hear that right?”
“3 billion. Wire it to me now. I lost everything, and if you don’t pay up, they’ll really kill me,” Waverly said, her voice trembling with fear.
“Are you crazy? I don’t have that kind of money,” Martin snapped
“Yes, you do,” Waverly shouted. “You sold that land to Loren yesterday; you got 3 billion for it.”
“That money was for,” Martin started to explain, but Waverly cut him off before he could finish.
“I don’t care. Send the money now. If I’m hurt, you and your brother die too. I have proof of everything you’ve done. It goes public if anything happens to me. Don’t believe me? Just watch Waverly shouted.
“Are you out of your fucking mind?” Martin sna Successfully unlocked!
“Suit yourself, pay up or don’t,” Waverly shot back.
Martin didn’t say a word for ages. Finally, he spoke coldly, “Send me the address. I’ll come over myself.”
