Elaine thought for a moment. “You’d make Waverly wish she was dead, not just let her get off easy.”

What Waverly did wasn’t enough to warrant a death sentence. At best, she would spend the rest of her life locked up bars. But honestly, for Waverly, that was the most comfortable punishment.

Nina smirked. “The place you think is the most comfortable? For her, it’s nothing but torture.”

Elaine blinked, then laughed, “Guess she’s already picked out her own cell to suffer in.”

Nina didn’t say a word. She just gunned the engine and sped off toward the Swanson residence.

Meanwhile, at the Swanson residence, everything was a mess. Everyone in the Swanson family had been poisoned. Sarah was in critical condition.

Every single member of the Swanson family had been rushed to the hospital. The house was completely empty.

After the Swansons had all left the house, Matthew headed straight for the storage room. He rummaged around for a while, but couldn’t find what he was looking for, so he made his way to Sarah’s room.

After what felt like forever, Matthew finally came out, clutching something in his hand. It was the necklace Sarah had always treasured.

Matthew went back to his room, just about to start packing, when his phone rang. He glanced at the caller ID and picked up.

Martin’s voice came through, urgent. “Did you get it?”

Matthew’s face was blank. “Yeah.”

“Pull out now! Nina’s onto us,” Martin urged.

Matthew scowled, “I’m not backing out. Nina’s not dead yet!”

The Swansons always treated Lily like she was nothing. Matthew was going to drag every single one of them straight to hell himself. Everyone sent to the hospital would die.

Now, Nina was the only one left standing.

“Don’t be an idiot! Get out of there now!” Martin growled. “You’re no match for Nina. She’s been watching us ever since she came back to the Swanson family. She knows everything we’ve done. Just go! She’s already on her way back.”

Nina could wipe the floor with all those ancient martial arts experts from the Nicholson family, which just showed how insanely powerful she was.

And Nina had known who Martin really was this whole time, just waiting for the right moment to strike. It looked like there was no way to keep this under wraps anymore.

Martin had to get out of there. Riverdale was no longer safe for him.

Matthew didn’t say a word. Instead, he was busy calculating in his head just how good his chances of killing Nina for real

Martin knew exactly how to hit Matthew’s weak spot.

Matthew hesitated for a moment, and in the end, he packed up his things and left the Swanson residence.
