Nina’s hand froze mid-brow, her face cycling through a range of emotions.

“Nina, you heartless snake!” Vivian roared, nearly shaking the house. “You ruined Lily’s engagement, stole her fiancé, and now you’re trying to seduce SN Corporation’s CEO? Have you no shame?”

‘Lily cared so much about Ryan. Nina not only humiliated her publicly, but also stole Ryan right under her nose.

‘Worse, Nina didn’t cherish the man she’d stolen. Instead, she went around flirting with someone else, Vivian thought, so mad she could barely breathe.

“Nina, you’ve gone too far,” Lily snapped. “The Foster family might not match SN Group, but they’re still big in Betrico. How could you dump Ryan and get involved with SN’s CEO?

“Do you even realize the CEO is almost sixty? He’s older than Dad. How are Mom and Dad supposed to show their faces after this?”

Lily was both fuming and heartbroken. She should’ve been glad Nina was hooking up with SN’s CEO, but she just couldn’t bring herself to be.

She cared so much about Ryan, but he was basically Nina’s simp even after she had cheated on him. Lily was so grossed out she could throw up.

“Nina, did you really make Ryan a cuck?” Ethan’s eyes bulged.

Nina was at a loss for words.

Sarah smacked Ethan’s forehead. “Stop talking nonsense. Nina would never do something like that.”

Then she switched gears. “But Nina, SN’s CEO is pretty old. If you’re not into Ryan, we can find you someone else. Maybe you should just break things off with that CEO.”

Nina looked at them, exasperated. “Who said the SN’s CEO is some old guy?”

“That’s common knowledge,” Ethan replied. “Brian mentioned in an interview/that their CEO is basically ancient, barely running anything. He just lets Brian handle everything.”

‘Great. No wonder nobody believes I’m the CEO. They think I’m some sixty-year-old grandpa, Nina thought, speechless.

She pinched the bridge of her nose, exasperated. “You don’t believe I’m the SN CEO? Why do you think the company is called SN?”

Ethan thought for a second, then his eyes lit up. “SN… Nina Swanson! Wow, the CEO must be obsessed with you. He named the whole company after you.”

“Whatever makes you happy,” Nina said flatly, heading straight upstairs to rest. Honestly, she felt like there was a massive generation gap between her and her family.

The next day, just as Nina came downstairs, she saw Henry pacing back and forth there, looking totally on edge.

Spotting her, Henry quickly approached. “Nina.”

Right then, Nina’s phone buzzed. She shot off a text reply while asking, “What’s up?”

“Thanks,” Henry said, a little shy. “I wanted to thank you last night, but the house was such a mess and I never got the

After sending her message, Nina looked up at him. “You don’t need to thank me. Thank yourself.”

Henry was Michael’s son, her sixth cousin on her dad’s side.

As a kid, she mostly hung out with Sarah. Vivian would occasionally drag her off for “training.” She never really got close to her cousins.

Now that she was back with the Swanson family, her cousins always went out of their way to avoid her, so she didn’t know much about them.

All she knew was that when they were kids, all the children in the family had to take IQ tests, and both she and Henry scored below average.

Judy and Michael weren’t as heartless as Vivian. They never abandoned Henry. But even so, he still had a tough time at home.

Vivian and her sisters-in-law were always polite on the surface, but constantly competing behind closed doors.

Since Vivian’s kids were basically geniuses, the sisters-in-law were always secretly trying to one-up each other.
