Chapter 411
Simon and Patrick just nodded and had their guys drag those researchers out. They didn’t bother with any small talk
“What are you doing? Let me go.
“How dare you cause trouble in the Betrico Zenith Research Institute? Someone call the police.”
The researchers kept yelling, but Simon and Patrick didn’t even look their way. They just dragged them out and tossed them outside.
Then they had security shut the door, and the two of them stood outside like gatekeepers
The researchers kept mouthing off, but Simon and Patrick just put on their headphones.
Maybe they got tired of yelling, or maybe Simon and Patrick were just ignoring them no matter how much they shouted. they finally gave up.
“Mr. Goodwin, what now? Nina pulled some strings to get in, and now she kicked us out without even blinking Owen snapped. “There are tons of important files in there. If she ruins them, all our work goes to waste.”
“Yeah, Mr. Goodwin. Project c175 is finally showing some results. If it gets trashed, all our hard work goes down the drain.”
“Come on, Mr. Goodwin, you gotta do something.”
Qadir’s face darkened as he glared at Simon and Patrick blocking the door. He’d never met anyone this overbearing in his
life.
They tried talking sense into Nina, and she just used brute force.
He unleashed a torrent of curses, exhausting himself, yet Simon and Patrick remained silent, deaf to every word.
It was like landing a heavy punch on a pillow. He was furious beyond measure.
Qadir took a deep breath, swallowed his frustration, and tried to keep his cool. “Let’s go find Mr. Quentin”
Once the place was cleared out, Nina pulled out her phone and made a call.
Soon, a group of people in white lab coats walked in. Russell walked up to Nina and said respectfully, “Hi Ms. Swanson
Nina nodded, then turned to Michelle and said, “Hand out the files to them.”
“Huh?” Michelle was still reeling from how Nina had just tossed everyone out. Nina’s voice snapped her back to reality, and she stammered, “Oh, okay.”
Michelle hurried to hand out the files, then stood off to the side, keeping her head down and trying not to draw any
attention.
She thought, ‘Why does it feel even more tense in here than before? I’m so scared. Is Ms. Swanson going to kick me out, too?
“Half an hour. That’s all you get for the S+ project at the Betrico Zenith Research Institute,” Nina said, her expression grim.
She couldn’t be bothered with such a basic project, but this was Wylder’s order.

To become the head of the Betrico Zenith Research Institute, she needed to offer Wylder something, and Project c175 was her proof of allegiance.
Russell looked at the files and was stunned for a moment. After a long pause, he finally came back to his senses. “Ms. Swanson, are you serious? Is this supposed to be an S+ project?”
He thought, ‘What? Does this basic project count as S+? Is this really what the Betrico Zenith Research Institute spends its days on? What a waste.’
Nina smirked, her tone dripping with sarcasm. “Believe it or not, this dumb project really is S+.”
Russell was completely lost for words, thinking, “This is literally wasting my time.’
Michelle’s eyes went wide in shock. She thought, ‘Did they just call this project dumb? Everyone at Betrico Zenith Research Institute had basically camped out at the place for five whole months, all just to crack this project as soon as possible.
This project is insanely hard, and Ms. Swanson just dismissed it as dumb. This is insane.’
Russell cleared his throat and casually dropped the files onto the desk. “Just give me ten minutes.”
No team was needed; he could handle it easily by himself.
Russell jumped right into the project. And ten minutes later, he stood up. “Ms. Swanson, it’s all done.”
The screen displayed the core data Russell had just cranked out, and on the table was the completed Project c175 prototype.
Michelle was left speechless. After all, Qadir and Owen were the absolute legends at Betrico Zenith Research Institute, but the Project c175, which they hadn’t completed in five months, was effortlessly finished by Russell.
“Can I take a look?” Michelle asked, sounding nervous. She just wanted to see the finished Project c175 prototype up close for
once.
Before this, she was basically stuck doing grunt work at the institute. Meetings were out of the question, and she wasn’t even allowed near Project c175.
Russell showed no hesitation. “Feel free to check it out.”
Russell always believed his work was meant to be seen, never hidden away. He was never one to keep things secret.
Michelle finally saw it. The pale golden gel gleamed with an even, luminous sheen.
Qadir spent five months and only got a visibly murky semi-finished product. Yet what lay before her looked like something straight out of science fiction.
Michelle’s heart was pounding like crazy. “Ms. Swanson, can I follow you from now on?”
Just then, the doors to the Betrico Zenith Research Institute burst open. Qadir, Wylder, and the whole group Simon and Patrick had just tossed out came storming back in, looking pissed.
Owen’s eyes immediately landed on the core data for Project c175 flashing on the screen, and the prototype sitting right there on the desk.
He totally lost it, barreling past Qadir and the others like a madman, and charged straight at Russell. “How dare you touch this project?”
He thought, ‘Mr. Goodwin and his whole team spent five nonstop months on Project c175 and barely made some progress, only for it to end up like this!

He felt as if the child he had painstakingly raised was being abused. He wanted to kill Russell.
Russell snorted. “This dumb project? Do you really think I wanted anything to do with it?”
The only reason he even bothered was that Nina asked.
“What did you say?” Qadir was so furious that he could barely breathe.
Wylder rushed over and caught him before he could hit the floor.
Qadir’s eyes were bloodshot. “This is a research institute, not a place for you to run wild. How could you touch my project without permission?
“Mr. Quentin, I respect you, and I could let small things slide, but not this.”
Qadir shoved Wylder out of the way and stormed over to Nina, every step radiating fury.
Nina just stared at him calmly, totally unfazed.
Wylder looked helpless. “Mr. Goodwin, please, don’t get so worked up.”
Wylder stepped in and grabbed Qadir, giving Nina a pointed look. “Nina, I brought you in to lead the project, not to stir trouble and drive people away.”
Nina scoffed, totally unimpressed. “What’s the use of keeping useless people around?”
“Are you seriously calling me useless?” Qadir shot back, his face flushed with fury.
He shoved Wylder aside. “Mr. Quentin, you see how arrogant she is. Don’t hold me back. Five months of our hard work can’t be wrecked by her. Even if you’re here, I’m not backing down.”
Qadir was shouting furiously as he charged straight at Nina.
Nina looked up, her voice chillingly steady. “Are you going to hit me?”
